Why do you think people play online anyway?

Hi all,

 

Here's an interesting question for discussion...

 

Why do you think people play online casino or just casino at all? If you are at all in the mood for reading, here's an article I found on the issue  <SNIP>. But I personally think its more because people would like to find out what's going to happen next and they like the adrenaline. What do you think?

In answer to your question why do people play at casinos..I guess everyone has they own reasons.

 

Before I found "slots" my opinion of online casinos were they are all a scam! I'm pretty sure a large population of gambling virgins share the same opinion of me. This was until I found them whilst playing online bingo. Once I found them I knew there was no going back.

 

So why do I play at online casinos - well my answer is simple because I enjoy it, I can control it and it's a hobby!

To be completely honest, if I knew why people are playing online I would have been a billionaire by now.

 

I know why I am playing though. Because of the excitement, thrill and above all - the almighty greed. Simple as that.

Because I can play whatever game I like - when I like. I hate going to slot machine venues and having to wait for machines I want to play. I also like to gamble in private. I find I'm also less reckless when Im on my own and focused on just me and the machine I'm playing.

Picking up on your point about gambling alone - this is the same for me. I like to gamble in private, I'd never go round a friends house and just start spinning slots on my phone in front of people! Privacy is very important!

Yep completely agree and what I'd also add to that list is privacy! I don't want people seeing what I'm spending so playing at home is perfect for me.

I agree with you the bonuses are the main reason why I play online. The downside of online casinos is the withdrawal time.

The withdrawal time    Maybe your playing at the wrong casinos...this certainly isn't something you need to worry about at certain casinos. Guts Casino, Betat, VideoSlots Casino - to name just a few of course.

Hmmm... why do i play online ??Well i like the privacy,i dont like to go to local casinos and in what kind of society i live i would definitely get that look from people and specially from my friends or people i know.

 

I do not play online for bonuses thats for sure.I do enjoy playing online,its fun and exciting, as for the control i must admit i lose it sometimes maybe much often,but well.... thats gambling i guess

I can agree with the reasons others said. Also as hajnrih said, for me too it has become sort of a lifestyle, something I do and it feels just natural for me. I love the excitement, also as VaIDes said, I do it for the greed too, and also it's a way to relax and be by my one, this is the exlusive thing I do and make decisions. And you know, while it keeps me happy and I'm not in debt because of it, there's nothing wrong

I started off playing online because I was doing so well in Texas Holdem.... I've branched out since then but I mostly like it because

1) It's fun, yeah  2) I want to be financially independent  3) Who doesn't want to make money from home? I don't like people. I'd prefer to work from home all the time if I could.
