Johnnygotthebone
Without any law restricting gaming in this beautiful country the providers are pulling out... NETENT, wms and Nexgen say buy bye to us... I get email today from BETSAFE that I got some useless Dracula spins... I have not llayed in a week so decided why not... Go play them.... RESTRICTED COUNTRY UNIBET followed wi NEXGEN and wms and soon Netent. Just a matter of time before they all disappear. Looks like picked the right time to quit gaming. Johnnygotthebone
Forgot to mention REDBET axed CANADIANS according to a friend. One by one they will all cancel Netent and company. I know a few politicians and will get the scoop tomorrow. Should be fun. I honestly couldn't care less to be honest. I have no interest in gaming anymore anyway. I went to a local restaurant the other day and they had videoslots besides the bar. I saw WMS GAMES. I think that's why.... They want everyone to go to a bar to play instead of staying home. Johnnygotthebone
Problem is each province has its own gambling rules. It's not federal. Wms and many others are in local casinos and bars. IGT BALLY etc have never been available online. In a way I am happy. I have literally stopped all gaming and this news is supporting my will to stop. I feel bad for players who passed some time online.

Johnnygotthebone
But it was only the other day you were saying NetEnt games are a slow death Maybe that's why the government gave them the Ax. All it takes is for a few people to complain to any politician and within moments this politician will take it upon themselves to fix the problem, they don't play games over here, if somebody complained about a providers games, I guarantee you that the politician took all the necessary steps to follow through and this is the end result

Come on, let's be serious. Politicians don't give a sh*t about someone complaining from a particular game and/or gambling provider. Unless it's not concerning taxes somehow... cocopop3011
Johnnygotthebone
Not here Valdes. It takes one call and one complaint before people start complaining. And with the Internet???? Even faster.
ValDes
Not here Valdes. It takes one call and one complaint before people start complaining. And with the Internet???? Even faster. With all due respect, I don't believe that. If you still doubt my words, I suggest you to make the following experiment... Simply submit some sort of an online petition or complaint with the following text: "Dear Canadian Politicians, I would like to complaint formally from the fact that Canada still lacks a proper legislation when it comes to online gambling and online casinos in particular. " Curious to know if any politician would even bother responding you...

There's no chance any politician here would even read it let alone act upon it! They're all far to busy up their own backsides and earning far too much money, and claiming far too many expenses IMO
white_noise
I believe the actual reason that Netent is blocking Canadian is because they are trying to get picked up by the land casinos in Canada. That is the reason why we can't play WMS games because they are in the land casinos and in the contracts it states that the WMS games aren't licensed for the online casinos to allow Canadians to play because it would undercut the land casinos. cocopop3011 and ValDes

Maybe so. At the end of the day it's their loss. All providers. If I wanted to game in a casino, I would go. Just because raging rhinos can be played online, blocking it from 4 casinos serving 10 million people in my province is not going to make me not go to a casino. It's ridiculous. But.....timing couldn't have been better. I don't play anymore so for me, doesn't matter. Raptordinos

Thanks for the useful feedback, much appreciated. However do you consider NetEnt chances as serious enough to compete with WMS when it comes to land based gambling machines? Asking, cause these WMS games are literally everywhere across land based casino all over the world...
white_noise
Compete with them i doubt it, WMS is a billion dollar company i believe, and has a extremely large presence. I'm not sure what makes them more money land based contacts or the online contracts. They could be positioning themselves for a take over from WMS or any other large gaming maker. Johnnygotthebone
Canada has less than 100 land based casinos At any given time, 1000 people can be spinning starburst online from Canada alone. Their mistake.
Johnnygotthebone
Proud to announce that the remaining HANDPICKED casinos I had action on and small deposit limits have now all received an exclusion. Since I am not playing, BUH bye! I left one account open and have a 25 permanent monthly deposit limit in place. I end the year on a good note and happy to have honestly, honestly have gotten fed up of online gaming. Next time I game, I will drive 4 hours to a casino and play. Out of respect to this forum, I will just say bye to Netent,mg,play n go and WMS. Later Raptordinos

Well, NetEnt is also a huge business now with a market capitalization of over 17 billion SEK /almost 2 billion USD/ - http://www.euroinvestor.com/exchanges/nasdaq-omx-stockholm/net-entertainment-ne-ab-ser-b/1871693 In my humble opinion, If anyone is planning a take over that would definitely be NetEnt. Johnnygotthebone
Ty ty. I have a couple of casino accounts active and don't play everyday anymore. Thank goodness for Proxy Vpn. Luckily I found ways around these ridiculous Netent restrictions. Just stupid. By anyway. Better that way. Played last night for a few hours and his morning and made bear 1k and that's it. Won't play for a week now. Better this way. Raptordinos
