Natalie777
We love everything about Japan, so we decided to make a list with the best Japanese(-themed) slot games. The Eastern culture offers something really unique and it would be a shame not to dive in their culture and offerings to find out more. Japanese slot games such as the ones below allow us to take a virtual trip to Japan. These are our favourite ones. Geisha Wonders A straight forward Japanese themed video slot with 5 reels and 30 bet-lines. We like the fact that there are two progressive jackpots: the Wonder Jackpot and Mega Wonder Jackpot. There are also various symbol combinations that can net you nice prizes. The Free Spins, Jackpot Symbols, Scatters, and Wilds combined with a taste of oriental culture offer a remarkable experience. The design of the slot is very, very flowery and you’re inclined to believe that the video slot is set in a Japanese garden. Powered by NetEnt Minimum bet: €0.30 Maximum bet: €60 Progressive Jackpot Free Spins Multiple Paylines Lights™ A mesmerising 5-reel, 3-row, 9-line with Floating Wilds and Free Spins, set in an Asian landscape at dusk, and playable from as little as €0,09 a spin to as much as €90 a spin. This is Lights, created by Net Entertainment – quite calming and the gameplay is very smooth which we like. We quite like the Lights slot because it is different to the other games released by NetEnt – it reminds us a little of the Thor Free Spins feature in The Avengers slot (Playtech) where you receive up to 5 wilds on every free spin. Powered by NetEntMinimum bet: €0.90 Maximum bet: €900 Incredible graphics Free spins Japan-O-Rama Wow, this one really offers a unique look into the world of the Far East. Japan-O-Rama is a cracking slot from Rival Gaming software and comes with a modern view of the ancient culture. While graphics at Japan-O-Rama slot machine are simple, we wouldn’t call them bad. There’s something really, really unique and somewhat refreshing about this slot and adds a lot to the game’s atmosphere. Ultra cute, with cool cartoon graphics and nice sound effects. The game itself is a classic 5 reel slot, with 3D graphics effects, wild symbols, and bonus rounds that include free spins. Powered by Rival Gaming Released in December 2010 20 paylines Free spins Autoplay Bonus features Water Dragons Water Dragons is another classic 5-reel slot with 30 paylines. Powered by IGT, the renowned online video slot developer, the game is based on a Japanese theme which is clearly represented in the symbols, backdrop, and lively background music that is everpresent in the game. Loads quite fast and plays really well on low Internet bandwidth. This game was originally a slot found in bricks and mortar casinos but was developed for online play in late 2013. From what we’ve tested, it’s a low/medium variance game and the big wins mainly come from the Free Spins Bonus feature. Powered by IGTReleased late 2013 30 paylines Rich and beautiful graphics Minimum bet: €0.30 Maximum bet: €300 Katana Gamblers can plunge into the world of Japanese culture with this one - an online slot so stylish it needs just a one word title. For those who don’t know, a Katana is the traditional handmade Japanese sword. There is no shortage of slots in this particular genre but there is always room for one more, especially one as good-looking as this. Katana has 5 spinning reels and 20 lines. The gambler uses its powerful katana to conquer this unique world of samurai and become the richest warrior in the world. Great soundtracks and incredible graphics. Powered by Novomatic0.02 up to 5.00 per payline bet 20 paylines Gamble feature 200X Jackpot Pachinko Regarding traditional Japanese games, pachinko is a type of mechanical game originating in Japan and is used as both gambling device and a form of recreational arcade game. It actually fills the Japanese gambling niche comparable to that of slot machine in Western gaming. It resembles the vertical pinball machine, yet is has no flippers and boasts a big number of small balls. You have to fire the balls into the machine, which then cascade down through a forest of pins. Sequences of events get triggered randomly and your goal is to capture as many balls as possible. We really recommend playing this slot. A Japanese company called Konami Holdings Corporation is the most notorious developer and publisher in the country and in August 2006, Konami entered the pachinko slot machine market. What kind of slots do you prefer? There has to be something that fascinates you. Let’s share! cocopop3011

cocopop3011
Interesting question Natalie! May I ask why you like the Japan style so much? To be honest I can't say I'm a huge fan of the theme, but in general I don't tend to go for just a theme I'll play any game as long as it pays! There was a japan themed slot I used to love at BetVictor though back in my early days of gambling, I can't remember it name though. Dragon 8 maybe? I know I struggled to find this game anywhere else!

I really don't take much notice of them, all I'm concerned about is whether or not I win!

Princessamidala
I have to say that I'm a fan of Japan style slots too, especially Katana. I always felt lucky on exotic slots land-based and that carried over to my online playing
