Yes, I also noticed it and their twitter also says they're stable now but still monitoring any further malicious activity.

... Or maybe it is about time for online casinos to start investing more in their IT infrastructure and security in general! 

 

I know that many online brands are really doing their best and strive to implement all the latest IT security technologies into their own websites, however what I know for sure looking at all these hundreds of outdated casino websites is that most of them do not care and bother too much when it comes to investments into IT...

Yes, it's true. I think it is good to be updated with this trend because some issue I worry about is personal info security, this is a DDoS attack, but later it could be another kind of attack with database targeted.

I agree, I think casino security is one of the most important things in a casino. If not even the most important.  If you don't feel secure in a casino, you won't deposit there and it will be their loss, so I agree with VaIDes, all casinos should improve that.

Sorry my dear, but must say you are totally wrong with this one. If there's someone who is always a step ahead in the field of IT security then it must be the hackers. What the other side is doing is to try catch up on them.

I agree with this, websites are always at defense. Once it arises a new kind of attack it creates a reaction  and a new kind of defense is born. Hackers are always one step ahead.
