billyboy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Not sure how this will be taken here, but here it is anyhow. I think it is a fair question. How often are the casino reviews updated? From what I see customers of some casinos have totally different perspectives than what a lot of casino review sites post. I realize that reviewer sites do make a commission from the casinos but … I also notice that when scrolling through the reviews, I see the opening syntax from many are near identical. Almost like a form letter. Same person, different avatar, but writing nearly the same comments over and over, maybe? Anyhow, let's take the one below one for example. And I have been a customer there and concur with the poor rating. The live chat does not work. Zero response from email support about problems with their site/games, etc. I just gave up on them. ASKGAMBLERS CasinoRank 7 - https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/reviews/playojo-casino Trustpilot 2.1/5 - Customer Reviews 14,686 - Poor - https://ca.trustpilot.com/review/playojo.com# Just sayin. Tadeusz Merkator Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I have noticed the same thing: an identical writing style across many sites. It often feels like the same marketing team is writing all the reviews. The gap between a high rank on a review site and a low score on Trustpilot is a huge red flag. If the live chat and email support do not work, no rating should ever be that high. Quote
Blackjax Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Playojo casino has been on AG from a long time and this rating was probably given when it first showed up. It belongs to the Skillonnet group which once had a good reputation in the market but their casinos have lost their reputation in the past years. I believe the AG team needs do re-evaluation of certain casinos who have been here for a long time and not stick with their initial ratings. Some casinos improve and some downgrade. I completely agree with the OP regarding Playojo as I play at their sister site and my experience has been the same Quote

Hi and thanks for you feedback. Our reviews are updated periodically but as you can imagine with thousands of reviews on our site it’s near impossible to ensure every single one is updated in real time - so we do rely on the forum to let us know when something has changed at a casino. This applies to the written part and important details. When it comes to casino rating - there are lots of things that impact this. I’ve just had a look at PlayoJo casino and see they have live chat for registered users only - are you telling me this doesn’t work? If so can you please post screenshots so I can get our review updated? Also - each review is written individually. No two reviews will EVER be the same. You may notice some similarities between reviews but as you can imagine we write thousands of reviews so some general information may sound similar. Quote

We've seen it happen here over and over again - bad reviews left simple because the person couldn’t handle losing! Quote

I have since managed to create an account to test live chat, and it is an absolute nightmare! Near impossible to even get past their chatbot. Thanks for highlighting this. I have sent this to our review team and they will update it asap. Quote
cocopop3011 Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago We have now updated our review - just confirm that I did manage to speak to a real person - albeit after about 30 minutes of trying. Quote
