Self excluded no withdrawal?

I deposited with Ladbrokes and deposited £370. I won £827 and asked for a withdrawal. I have a bit of a gambling issue so I rang customer surport and asked could my account be suspended for a while as I was worried I'd gamble my winnings. I was told I could self exclude and i asked more than once will my withdrawals still go through I was told they will go through as usual. Tonight I asked for an update and was told as I have self excluded my withdrawal won't be processed until my exclusion period is up. When I explained I was told my withdrawal would go through as normal the man said it is still waiting. I'm confused can they keep my withdrawal until my exclusion period is up or do they have to pay me my money?

I am sorry to hear this but i believe you could find it in their TC .And for the future, please read carefully TC and ask confirmation via Live support. Save chat transcript, so easy, copy and paste into word.

I am not relevant to answer your question but other members and stuff will be here as soon as possible.

I really hope you will receive your winnings. hM,, i can not believe that  they have right to keep your money but it is only my personal opinion. Stay positive if there is any issue, you can always file complaint here. AG will give their best to solve your issue if needed,

Regards!

Hello and welcome to the AskGamblers forum first.

Well, I'll be short with this one. I think the aforementioned casino just gave you the run around, simple as that. :( Self exclusion is usually a very serious sign that a gambler is experiencing certain difficulties and the casino is supposed to help as much and as soon as possible instead of using such stupid tricks.

What you could do now is to wait and show some strong will not to reverse until you get your money. Then you could request either a permanent exclusion or just close your account for an year or so and let the casino management what do you think about their responsible gaming policy. ;)

Sounds like poor treatment by the casino that is likely to cost them more than your winnings in poor PR. As the poster above mentioned, it's best to read the terms and conditions because they usually sneak something in there but even so this is a poor bit of judgement by the casino.
