When do you decide to change the game?

Good (almost) morning :)

Played a bit slots tonight and while the wheels were spinning, I was thinking how often do you change the game, while for example trying to complete the wagering and what moment do you consider right for that?

When you're trying an unfamiliar software or casino you're never played at, do you want to try as much games as you can?

Do you continue playing one and the same game until you stop having winning streaks or you continue playing it even if it doesn't pay anything for awhile and eats your balance slowly (or even speedy), hoping that it must be a big winning for you now - it's just there, I feel it?

Oooor you drop while it's still hot?

I usually like trying as much different games as possible, in a short time, but it applies to no deposit bonuses, which I really consider mainly for playing purposes and exactly for games trying.

When it comes to deposit bonuses, I stick to one game I like and which gives me nice winnings, so I can increase my balance. As soon as it stops giving, a give it a chance with a few spins more and then I look for another one.

When I try to wager the bonus, sometimes after a big win, I leave the game switching to another one with smaller bets and coins, just to keep my money and winnings well-balanced, while trying to wager the bonus in less risky (but slower) way.

You?

Good question! When I used to start playing slots, I usually would let the game spin for like 50-100 spins to see if I can trigger the free spins. Guess that was still some sort of discipline on my part back then. I would then just switch games if I didn't have any luck.

Nowadays I just play until I hit free spins and see how much it pays. If it pays well, then I keep playing for another 20-30 spins to see what else the game got to offer. If you're running good, then you're running good!

Downside is that it could take ages to trigger free spins lol. Had plenty of sessions where it would take 2,000 spins on Gonzo's Quest to trigger it. Very rare but it happened to me, and the result was a big hole in my bankroll. So my advice wouldn't be to chase it.

Other occasions when I choose to switch games is when I just have the feeling it's running cold, like 20-30 dead spins in a row. Then I choose to move right away.

Regarding bonuses, I think you're employing the right strategy to cash in on a big win. Let's say you won big and you still have some WR to go through, but you do want to be sure to cash out as much as possible, then it's best to play minimum bets on a low-variance slot (lowering variance) on a slot with a very high RTP (Blood Suckers for instance).

This ensures that you don't lose too much while trying to meet your goal. However, pay attention to the terms and conditions of casinos since they sometimes have some odd terms in place which doesn't allow you to drop your betsize more than a specific percentage or a percentage of the bonus, or will consider you not "playing in the spirit of the bonus" etc. etc.

Plenty of bullshit rules players have to deal with these days when taking a bonus, but you should always be weary. Otherwise it's usually waving goodbye to that nice win, and nobody wants that!

Wow Adebisi, thanks for this awesome answer and advice! I always discover something new, for example this thing would never cross my mind

Correct, most of the time 5 euro or more per bet is not allowed and they have the right to void all your winnings.

how do I know this? well, I am a member of Juega Ocho casino, got 5 euro no deposit and managed to boost my balance to over 50.000 euro. Max cash out was 50 euro support told me and bet over 5 euro was not allowed (I played Jack Hammer 2 with 200 euro per bet). At that moment I wished I was playing with my own money :D

Hahaha Runner, that's a disaster!!

But, how did you manage go turn €5 into €50.000??

And why did you continue playing, when you knew you won't be able to cash-out more than €50?

What a waste of €49,950.. having it in front of your nose, after being so lucky and knowing that you have to accept the destiny you won't see them live :(

So, some casinos forbid big bets which can speed up the wagering? I thought it's in their interest, because it can easier squeeze your balance..

Well miss Luci, I was pretty lazy when it comes to reading the T&C and I am pretty sure I am not the only one :D

I felt bad about losing that kind of money but I always think it's not my money I lost so it's okay. If it was my own money I probably went crazy.

how I managed to get that kind of money? probably because I was lucky, spent hours and hours playing netent games, started with 20 cent per bet and increased my bet when my balance went up and of course switching the games once in a while.

Well that really is a luck! When I see even €10-€15 in my account and play NetEnt, I already say goodbye to any success, waiting for my balance to reach 0.

Maybe I should be more optimistic :D

Sooo, you realised you won't be able to cash-out more than €50, after you won €50,000?

Well, anyway, knowing that you're playing no deposit bonus, I'm sure you knew there's no way to expect more than €100, €150 in the best case, to cash-out..even without reading T&C :)

Never under estimate the power of a single spin :D

I am participating the December Saurus tournament at LuckyDino, 2 days ago I won 22 euro just for playing that one spin LuckyDino gave me and I became the daily winner, they gave me 100 free spins the day after! in the end of the week if I can keep my place (2nd) I will be granted of 200 free spins for the game Jack and the beanstalk.

I was realised I never get that 50.000 as soon the support told me, they should put me in the Guiness book of record for making this kind of money just with 5 euro :D

First off, I shall say I am a very committed individual in real life. I first met my wife over 7 years ago, I've only played for one football team since I left university 10 years ago, I swam for City of Cardiff for 8 years, and I played for the current skittles team I play for since 2006. However, when it comes to slots and car insurance I am the least committed individual around! I would say if I don't win within 10 spins then I am off! I'm terrible, honestly. It's like speed dating... but with slots.

Hahaha! :D

Must admit that's the funniest possible way to say "I change slots all the time!" :good:

"It's like speed dating...but with slots." That was so funny! :D

When I play with a no deposit bonus, I usually choose one game I like and stick with it for 50 or 100 spins. Within them I can see, whether it's worth it to play it (if I get a bonus round, free spins and how much they pay). But if I play with a ND from unknown software, I try to check out many games.

But when it comes to deposit, I mostly stick to one-two games through session. If a dry period comes, when within 100 spins I cannot get anything, I switch the game. :)

Building on this, have you ever had "love at first sight" with a slot? I had it with Raging Rhino by WMS and a couple of the new Konami Gaming slots. However, others like Immortal Romance had to be played for a bit before they won me over.

Now that's a great question, Zabier! :good:

I believe most of my gambling is due mainly to what you call "love at first sight with a slot". :) I just can't help myself when I'm in love with a game, even when this love brings me some serious heart pains! ;)

Yes, I do have! And I can agree with VaIDes, mostly I fall in love with a game, even though it may  eat my money and not give anything back for some time! :D And at first, I wasn't the biggest fan of Avalon II or Immortal Romance, but now I've been playing them more and they're one of my favorites. :)

How interesting :)

Made me think if I ever fell in love with..the slot?

That "dummy" machines I used to consider a retarded game - all the same, but different look.

But then, when I put down my armour and allow myself to search more closely and deeply into this way of fun, I actually found it interesting. And slots are so different, like a little science :D

But Go Bananas were kinda my love at first sight... but I'm not so crazy about them anymore. How it comes, it goes :D

I already mentioned my favourite software at the moment, SoftSwiss. Their game Aztec Magic, still has my heart  ^_^

What matters MOST in the end, Jelena darling, is not which game you enjoy playing the most...but which game gives you REGULAR WINS the most! ;)

The reasoning is very simple. We want to play games all the time, but we don't want to lose our money all the time, right? Any game that can give you regular wins, can top up your wallet on a regular basis...and keep you playing on and on, without having to make new deposits into your wallet account.

Mr Cashback is the ONLY game that can do this, for me at least. That's why I NEVER miss playing it whenever I get big bonus offers. After many many months of fine-tuning the gameplay, I can now make wins quite easily and regularly. That's how I survived for the last 2 years of gambling...without using any of my own money! :)

Fruit Warp is currently being fine-tuned too, for a better rate of return for me, just as I did for Mr Cashback. Fruit Warp can easily eat me $300 in 1 game play alone...only then it would pay me back anywhere from $200 - $500. Sometimes I lose a bit, sometimes I win a bit...but Fruit Warp is now my top favourite non-Playtech game...simply because it can give me regular wins! DOA is damn good...but the big wins are worlds apart. I'd rather take small wins regularly...but once in a while, I want THE BIG ONE too! Hehehe. :D

Of course :)

Slots and love to them are probably very connected. You won't fall for boring game, where spins are just turning in silence, without interesting wins.

That's why I was in love with the beauty and brilliant game ideas of NetEnt, when I wasn't playing slots for real.

When I had a few fast zeros on NetEnt, I started thinking they are just not for me and that I need to stop playing only beautiful, eye-catching games.

Go Bananas was a recent exception, together with South Park - Reel Chaos, but if I play it again and they don't satisfy me with entertainment and often wins, my love will start melting. It applies to all games I like :p

But, on the other hand, games like mentioned Reel Chaos are simply amusing by themselves, so I forgive them if they eat my balance, because in that case, I paid for fun and nice look.

One word, there are games I expect from to win and games I enjoy just playing, without any expectation :)

In other words...if you don't enjoy playing the games, then don't play them at all, right Jelena darling? ;)

Yeah...there are many games for me that fall into this category...so I don't play them at all...unless it's for free! Hahahahaha.

Something like that.

But, I'd hardly play games I don't like visually at all, for example DOA :D:p

Yeah...I can understand! It would have been a lot different if Jesse James, for example, looks like Brad Pitt, or George Clooney, etc, etc. Jesse James does look real outlaw-ish...and so do all the others too! That's why DOA is not a favourite with gals!!! Hahahaha.

Hahahaha, but that's because that western style is something I don't like. Just a boring theme, that's all.

And now I must run away, before ValDes catches me and gives me a lesson :D

Errrrr....will that be running away to go to work...or to slots...darliiiiing??? :)
