Terms and conditions....... Get the fact before they get you!

Recommended Posts

Many of us have got burned by terms and conditions. After reading them, confirm everything. Make sure u r protected.

Some casinos allow a maximum of 5 dollar bets. Even if one of the bets is over 5, and 10000 others are under, it's a violation.

Some bonuses have a max cash out. They will give you 100 bucks and if you hit 20k...ooops, max cash is 10x your bonus. Sorry!

Other say u. Any play progressives.

Many many more hidden terms out there!

I only play slots. Here is an example of how I decide if I will play or not.....

Agreed Johhny, I have been burned many times by not reading Terms and Conditions I am guilty as charged! I'm just not one of those people who look into everything before depositing but it has come back and bit me in the bum lots of times!

Great advice though to read the terms!

I read every word last night in the terms for jetbull, casino luck, next casino and go wild.

All good. Now there will be no surprises.

I think next casino and casino luck are owned by the same people. Almost identical terms? Maybe I am wrong. Dunno

Hello and welcome to the AskGamblers forum. :)

Could you be a bit more specific with this one, please?! As far as I can see it seems like totally yours mistake and not casino's. After all, it is your obligation to read carefully all terms and conditions associated with a casino bonus before accepting it, isn't it? :o

True! I've heard you talk about this casino many times Hun. What's a good casino to one person is another persons worst nightmare, but in the casinos defence Katemak has always spoke highly of Miami Club Casino, especially in the no deposit section!

Speaking of terms.... Instead of starting a new thread.... Copy and paste your favourite clause.

Since I am excluded from almost everywhere, I can't join in the fun....

But my favourite was something like this from I forgot......

Maximum winnings allowed to cash out will not exceed 5x your deposit. Anything over will be forfeited.

I was laughing for an hour with that one!

Johnny, you actually gave me a great idea, mate. :good:

I should start collecting and posting here some of the most ridiculous terms I meet while dealing with online casinos all the time. I'm sure it would be great for our members to know about what to look at and avoid at any cost while browsing casino's terms and conditions. :)

The title of this topic is excellent advice but I feel the rest of the thread is a bit hit and miss... how about a real T and C warning thread AskGamblers, letting players know of some of the worst bullshit terms that are starting to pop up all over the web? Excellent example, the 6x withdrawal limit on your deposited amount at Fortune Lounge / Vegas Partner Lounge / Roxy Palace and other Microgaming casinos that has started to become a standard rule. Only the 32red group has escaped this garbage and with their recent customer service quality reductions then I'd be surprised if they aren't going to the be the next to introduce this rubbish!

Feel free to start such a topic where examples of tricky T&Cs would be exposed. I guess that would be rather useful, especially for new players.
