Askgamblers got me into this so help me understand

Recommended Posts

I went to this place because of ask gamblers. It is clear that the bonus is a cash back Ponzi scheme on the ask gamblers site. But when I went to the site I saw something different. Happens that the actually offer is different from the ask gamblers site. No worries there.

so, if you see this, what do you think will happen when you deposit 250?

Whaaaat? Johnny!! We do not have anything on Ask Gamblers that is a scam!

You haven't even said what casino it is your talking about and you haven't said what exactly happened!

Care to share some more details with us Johnny?

Guessing from you picture - the casino whatever one it may be is offering a 100% welcome bonus up to a maximum of $200.

So I am guessing if you deposit $250 you get a $200 bonus. But of course I'm just guessing for the very limited information you have given. Obviously all terms and conditions of the bonus offered at whatever casino is would be on their website

Read what I wrote before you answer Please

I never said askgamblers scammed me

I said askgamblers description of the bonus which IMHO is a pure scam in every way shape and form was accurate.

I read exactly what you wrote....and I quote

"I went to this place because of ask gamblers. It is clear that the bonus is a cash back Ponzi scheme on the ask gamblers site"

Implying we have a "Cashback Ponzi scheme on the ask gamblers site"

And Johnny there is no need to take such a harsh tone. You have supplied very little little information and the information you did supply implied we "got you into this"... If you want us "to get you out" as you said you will need to supply some further information please.

Well, isn't that what I should have received based on what you saw on the screen shot? 200 dollars. We agree, correct?

No sorry I can't agree, I would have to know the casino and see the full promotion page before agreeing.

Can you say what the casino is?

Not harsh at all. Laughing actually.

Yes. Ask gamblers was clear on the bonus. They advertised it as a cash back bonus. But when I went to the site. I saw this. I even got that in an email. 100% upto 200 dollars.

So I figured askgamblers had an older offer. And the casino had changed it.

Ooooohh..okay Video Slots. I play on my iPad, so I can relate to you on how it looks.

But I have a huge issue with the bonuses provided at VideoSlots!

Can you just confirm Johnny whether you had to work through the bonus in 10% increments?...so for every 10% you wager from your deposit money...they release 10% of the bonus to real funds??

Is that the bonus you are talking about?

Yes

10%

That is not a bonus. That is a ........(don't want to upset Val)

Lol Johnny..in fact I think this is one where Valdes will AGREE with you!! Their bonus is a joke! I only ever deposit little amounts like £20 and I always wondered whether or not their bonus scheme would benefit players like yourselves who deposit much more than me...and obviously it doesn't!

I'm afraid I personally don't think you do have a case against them unfortunately ... But again it's not me that deals with complaints and things like that here - Valdes will be here tomorrow and he will be able to help you more.

Hope you manage to get something sorted Johnny - sorry I couldn't answer your question fully tonight

Waste of my time. Their bonus is not a bonus. IMHO, it is a scam! Imagine I win 10k within 20 seconds. I can not cash out because I have 10 % increments waiting for me? I would have to wager 15 I to get 200 back in increments????

This is a disaster casino. And too bad. The interphase tops them all.

Oh no! Our beloved Johnny is angry and frustrated again!

Dear Johnny, before even trying to explain you what is this bonus all about and how it works, I'll afford to give you an advice. Man, you should really learn to control your anger! And please, stop using such harsh words when posting at the forum, cause frankly speaking, my good temper and patience with you is wearing thin! Really really thin, mate!

Now, back on the bonus question...

Full information regarding Video Slots bonus terms could be found here and here.

I'll try to explain how their bonus scheme works with my own words anyways...

Let's say you deposit 100 bucks. It means that you will receive 100 bucks in return as a bonus, but unlike most of online casinos this 100 bonus bucks are separated in 10 increments and each of these increments are added to your balance every time 10% of the wagering is done. In other words, wager 200, get 10 bucks, then wager another 200 and get another 10 bucks... The key moment here is that you are actually ALLOWED to request a withdrawal, but the withdrawal amount is limited ONLY to the deposit amount! Or in our case, you can only withdraw 100 bucks.

I know this bonus scheme is probably a bit difficult to understand and accept, but it is all explained in their terms and conditions. Therefore, calling it 'a scam' or 'fraud' is not only totally wrong, but it also reveals that you didn't even bother reading the bonus terms at all! And that's sad, and arrogant!  <_>

Yes, that explains the bonus perfectly!

I'm no exception at speaking the truth and I have always said that I think this bonus scheme is a waste of time HOWEVER Video Slots are one of my favourite casinos. Their withdrawals are quick and I have always received my money from them very quickly.

Sometimes their live support does lack a little bit of the wow factor but nevertheless it's still good. And their games are phenomenal ... When I play at Video Slots I just play with my own money.

The fact is whenever you accept a bonus, you need to be prepared to meet certain requirements before cashing out. If this doesn't sound like something you want to do I advise you don't accept a bonus.

Johnny - I'm not aiming that last comment directly to you mate. I know you know how gambling with bonuses works its a comment aimed at anyone reading this who may be are not quite sure

I loved their interphase. I just did not like the misleading email I received which clearly states 100% up to 200 dollars. No where does it say cashback bonus or whatever...... I will not play there again. Really sad though. Their lack of respect for me just cost them a serious player.

IMHO, any casino that hides behind it's terms is not to be trusted.

Whether you are going to play there or not is definitely your own choice. But you'd better start reading these casino terms and conditions before registering and/or accepting any bonus. Seems like you rush to play and somehow underestimate the importance of being properly familiarized with crucial information like the aforementioned casino terms.

I agree Val. I trust to easy. Once in a while I fall for this type of solicitation.

100% my fault. It was late. I was tired. I did not read carefully and fell for their offer.

My fault. I learned my lesson Val

Sincerely hope so, mate! If you start doing it all the time it will definitely save you A LOT of future troubles with casinos. ;)
