Would you refuse a bonus?

Recommended Posts

¡Hola darlings :)

Everybody love bonuses! Many people are visiting affiliate sites like us, just to find new bonus codes! And it's not surprising at all, bonuses are free money given, with our without you making any deposit!

But, bonuses are connected with some terms, like wagering requirements or limited with maximum cash-outs! Nothing can be that generous, right?

On the other hand, playing casino without using bonuses, releases you painful wagering requirements, time to achieve it and often cash-out limits!

And, my question is - In which cases and situations, you'd refuse to use a bonus that some casino is offering and play their games without it, being your own boss? :D

When I first started gambling I always always took a bonus, as time goes on and you start to realise that you have registered in most casinos and accepted all the welcome bonuses there is to accept you start to search for the reload bonuses - this however can be relentless.

Over time I slowly started to learn that sometimes you don't need a bonus! I take every situation as it arrives - it really depends on how I'm feeling on the day really and how much I have to deposit.

I will always consider a bonus - so thank heavens we have Ask Gamblers to keep supplying them!

Haha, great! :) Thanks Sharon!

But why, when you can cash-out your winnings on deposit, almost whenever you want?

Because say I only have £10 to deposit - that without a deposit could be gone in minutes - with a nice 100% bonus it would mean I had £20 to play with.

Yeah ok it means I have wagering but that extra £10 they give me could mean I have a great win that allows me to meet the wagering - then I can cash out anyway!

Its swings and roundabouts really!

Luciana dear, :hi:

Whenever I accept a deposit bonus I take notice of the following aspects:

1) the games I play do meet the wagering requirements. There are many casinos out there who exclude some games that can be played with bonusmoney. :excl:

2) no cash-out limits

3) casino's thrustworthiness.

In case of free money, or no deposit bonusses, I am not that demanding  . Only issue would be the maximum cash-out. It has to be worth my, my minimum cash-out would be a 100 euros.

Thanks for this lovely post, Seat :)

Does it mean that you'd just refuse a bonus that doesn't meet your criteria and turn off casino that is offering it... or you'd decline a bonus and continue playing without it?

Well, I would refuse the bonus and continue playing without it. But it has to be a casino with a good repuatation

So which casinos wouldn't you accept a bonus in seat? X

Sharon dear, :give_rose:  I've given up on roulette. , the game is just unbeatable in the long term :bad: Therefore I don't deposit anymore at regular casinos. I am now more or less a punter. To be honest I'm sick and tired of winning great amounts and then loosing them.  But let's say for argue's sake I'd still play roulette, I would only accept a bonus of one of the WHG (William Hill Casino Club, Eurogrand etc.)  casinos. They offer live roulette, and it counts towards forfilling the so often cursed wageringrequirements. Betfair lets you play roulette also with bonusmoney, or DublinBet,  As far as I know, those are the only roulettefriendly casinos available in my home country.

Hahahaha, seems that taking Seat into slots will be much harder than involving me! And I though I'll be the toughest one :D

Hey Seat, just paste the link into the post and voila! Wait till the full url is opened, cause I see yours is a bit strange with youtu.be address :)

Here's how it needs to look ( I divided some parts so you can see, it should go all together):

I find that some on the online casinos with "decent bonuses" end up having non-meetable wagering requirements and/or limited withdrawing options.

I've had some trouble with such casinos in the past, where I'd deposit money and not even manage to pull out the wagering requirements.

I usually  just tend to search for casinos that are trustworthy, then, I won't have to worry about making/not making the wagering requirements.

But sometimes it will take the kick out, when I gamble hours on end and then realise I've made no progress.

Kind of sucks, but bonuses are nice, although when working with a 200% bonus, you're looking up to some hefty wagering requirements

So, I'd rather have a 100% bonus matchup with normal wagering requirements, then to actually get a 200-250% bonus and play for hours until I've met the wagering requirements.

Yep, I totally understand that, Zeljko! I always like to read about bonuses and especially players' opinions and suggestions :)

Regarding this thread, I was just curious :) Thank you Zeljko for sharing your experience!
