The new AskGamblers website is already up and running from a few days and it's time to hear more from you about it.

 

We are still on a phase of fixing all these small issues and bugs, which is a perfectly normal situation when migrating such a huge website, but I'm pretty sure most of you have already managed to explore the new web in depth and to get an overall impression. And so, we would be more than happy to hear your opinion and answer any questions regarding the new website. And don't be shy, we know you have so much to say...

When I login just now, I could have sworn I was logging in into a NetEnt Casino Website!!! And my first thought was to look for the game Dead Or Alive, as our Guru Valdes and a few diehard followers would do...but then I saw the keyword 'Complaints'...and I thought "heeey...wait a minute...casinos don't have a 'Complaints' drop-down menu button...so obviously Askgamblers isn't a NetEnt Casino! Hahahaha. LOL. (my emoticons are not working here mate! )

 

Just kidding folks! You know me...no joke no fun! Hehehe.

 

So...what do I think of the new website? It's a similar question if someone asks me do I like those ultra-modern super-contemporary multi-platform casino websites...and the answer would be...hmmmm...errrrrr...thinking...errrr...by the way, do you like it? I do! Heck! I love it! It's a transformation akin to a normal local domestic supermarket turning into a new super hypermarket! (I guess women would relate to this transformation better than men would...because women just love hypermarkets! Hehehe)

 

Heeey! I do admire and appreciate those gigantuan malls...they're simply marvelous inside out...like a Disneyland...and you can't see all of it in just 1 day! Same thing here with Askgamblers! You can't see everything you wanna see in just 1 day...so make sure you keep coming back day in and day out!!! Hahahaha.

The new site is indeed like a giant mall you can't see it in one day, like Afi4Wins was saying. I have learned over the last year some PHP (web design) and I realise now that this work to build the new website was a bit like building the piramids. To change the entire site in just a few hours, this is remarkable!

I am just dicovering new games here, and also that now one can have numeorus options to select a game. The number of software (gaming) provider is truly overwhelming and also many other things.

 Only one thing it is missing now (except those great emoticons for forum posts). When looking after the date of a bonus (I was only looking after no-deposit bonuses) I failed to find it. I mean, on the older site the bonuses were arranged after the date they have been issued by the casino and this was very convenient to choose a bonus.

Well, I think they are sorted the same way as they used to be on the old web actually. The newest ones, listed at the top and so on...

I like the new website very much it looks great,but it is loading pretty slow for me.I don't know is it a server issue or website but images take a long time to be displayed.Also i could not find the button to filter games by software maker like on old site.Anyways great work askgamblers team

Actually, you can filter the games selection by so many filters. Just use the arrows to explore all possible filters we have provided.

Alright guys, a couple of questions.

 

1) I just got done writing a 600 word review for DOA. I separated the whole review in clear paragraphes to improve the readability. However, after publishing the review it appears all grouped not the way I intended it. Is there a trick to allow proper formatting? I can't imagine people reading all through it to be honest.

 

2) Emoticons button fails to work when I click on it. Nothing gets displayed.

 

3) What happened to the mailbox

 

Apart from the above, I'm really liking the new site. I already liked the old one, but it shows things can always be improved to make it even more spectacular.

I really like the website but it became confusing after that. Adebis basically clarified all my concerns (Thx dude). As AG is still improving there are links from the Casinos and Slots reviews that fail to work and I want to know from others if loading is slow or is it just me?

2) Emoticons are now working.

3) You can click on your username (in the right upper part of the page) and select Personal Messenger.

Oh, Icy, I was expecting at least a few thousands words from you, mate. You know, colors (we hate white:P), your beloved Planet Exotica...

 

Please, have in mind that there might be some country based restrictions when trying to open a casino or a game. But I would be really grateful if you send me via PM all broken links you found. Thank you in advance.

To answer Icy's question regarding slow loading...I guess everyone is getting it too Icy, even me with my Lady in red. More than sufficient specs in her, yet I'm getting a slight lag before the images and messages come on...perhaps due to the immense data being uploaded for viewing, as compared to the previous version of AG.

As you certainly all noticed, we have new, modern, good looking and richer AskGamblers! Ole! What a lovely surprise!

This revamp and redesign will bring us many advantages and bigger joy, while staying here!

 

The biggest are this:

 

- Much more user-friendly site, with easier navigation and excellent search and filter options

- Mobile optimised site

- Much more information, content and games

- Updated casino facts

- New CasinoRank and Complaints system

- Better systematisation of all important sections

 

Beside hot look, you are now able to find, for example, exact bonus that suits your criteria, by filtering it through bonus amount, percentage, wagering requirements, software, etc! Just command all the terms you're looking for and you'll be able to find it easily! And you can even do it, from your couch, from your mobile or tablet!

 

Of course, every migration has it's transition phases, so we're aware and you also should be, that this is really a huge project which must show some difficulties and flaws in the beginning! 

You are more than welcome to report here every error/bug you faced to and give us some positive or negative feedback, therefore we can make this place even more awesome, by working hard to fix everything!  Together!

It doesn't show more than one sentence broken in half.

Hmm, I'm using Firefox 28.0 and 29.0 and it is all working just fine for me? Emoticons, Show less/more feature...everything is ok. Try to update your browser, might solve the issues.
