AaronHorvat Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Hello everyone, I have been playing poker more often lately and I am curious to hear from those with more experience. What is the biggest adjustment you had to make when moving from low-stakes to mid-stakes poker? Quote

What is the biggest adjustment you had to make when moving from low-stakes to mid-stakes poker? for me the biggest change was how much tougher the player pool gets. at mid stakes you see fewer obvious mistakes and more people balancing their ranges, so you can’t just wait for premium hands and expect to get paid. i had to focus more on table selection, paying attention to who the weaker players were and adjusting to the regulars. also, bankroll management becomes more important since the swings are bigger when the stakes go up.
