What happens when you are playing in a casino and it closes?

Hi Aisham! Welcome to the club...AskGamblers Club!  ;)

Every casino has to shut down for a while for maintenance purposes. This can vary from 15 seconds to several hours, depending on the severity of maintenance required to be done on the casino servers. There have been cases of many days of shut-down period before a recovery finally comes back on. Sometimes, it is NOT even a maintenance shut down, but just a temporary internet connection failure! The same maintenance on-screen message is usually used for simplicity.

When you log back in, the game you were playing on will start again automatically, but you do have to wait just a little while for the system to restore its previous settings. Nothing will be lost, so don't worry! If nothing goes back to what it was like before the shut down, then you need to worry! But quickly inform us here so that we can try to assist you in whatever way we can, or rather, in whatever way the moderators here can.  :good:

Hello aisham and welcome to the AskGamblers forum! :)

Well, from personal experience would say that CWC (Club World Casinos group) is definitely a safe place for online gamblers, so I assume, there's nothing to be worried about. What you have experienced is most probably a scheduled software update or some software glitch at the worst case. In both situation the casino would be back, up and running, in only a couple of hours, if not even faster...

By the way, your interrupted game is recorded and will continue exactly from where it has ended. ;)

You're welcome Aisham!

Yes, Club World is a good place to play at. I played there many years ago but not now.

So, did you managed to login again and continue with your game and winning? :D

Yes it went back, but you would think they would do something special for the people who were playing when they shut down. I had sent a message but got no reply or sorry that happened. Oh well it just very sad some time's. I just think it should have been different how it was done.

It all depends on the casino's support team, Aisham. You'd be lucky if they responded later. Some casinos don't even reply...but the best ones always do, and these are the casinos worth sticking to. Anyhow, at all Playtech casinos, should a cut-off occur at any time when you're playing in it, an on-screen message would automatically appear upon relogin, apologising for the interruption. Not sure about other software casinos though.

Glad that everything went okay for you at Club World!  :good:

Club World responded as expected...just need Aisham to confirm that everything is okay now. But I won't be surprised if he completely forgot to close this topic here at AG!

  • 2 weeks later...

I was playing at Club World Casino at 3:30 a. m. and all of the sudden it shuts down for repair.Has this ever happen to any one else? They are great people there! But never had this happen before and I was winning and on a great bonus!

Hello there! I've never personally had this happen mid way through a bonus, but I do share with you the annoyance of having to start again after being on a winning streak. Guaranteed your doing really well somewhere and your screen will just refresh or it will log u out of the casino...when you log back in its never the same! Ouch...

P.s I corrected your spelling mistake in the title I hope you don't mind x
