cocopop3011
There really isn't any comparison between these two brands in regards to their mobile casinos. Microgaming wins hands down every time. Playtech are really falling behind when it comes to the games they have on offer for their mobile players. Even though I don't think mobile casinos have really hit it off yet, I honestly believe these are a thing of the future and in a few years time download casinos be un heard of as there will be no need for 'flash' so you can just spin away no matter what your playing on. I'm disappointed that Playtech don't seem to be jumping on this band wagon...yet????
Afi4wins
I agree with you Sharon, to a point, although playing slots on my mobile is something I am never keen of doing, for several personal reasons. I don't think I will ever pick it up either. Nothing beats my laptop and desktop for my purposes. The most important reason for me not to play on my mobile is - I certainly don't want others to see me gambling away on my mobile! What would they be thinking of me? OMG! Not enough at home...must do it on the move...and on the phone too? That so addicted? Cannot live without it? Ooooh booooy! This is one scenario I would want to avoid at all cost!!! I don't mind being left behind at all. Heck! My desktop and laptop are years behind too as of now...but they do what I want them to do...still! That's good enough for me! Afi Lol...it's ok I agree with you which is why I don't refer to my ipad as a mobile device because it never leaves my house as its wifi not 3G, my actual mobile I have no interest in playing slots on there at all the screen is far too small and just really slow. When I refer to mobile I mean my ipad...but ultimately I think all devices big or small will soon not need the flash ability to run slots... ValDes
The main reason why mobile version of a casino isn't even as half popular as the download/instant play one is quite simple actually. And it is called 'number and diversity of games' in my opinion. We still don't have a software platform fully converted to a mobile version, so whenever we see this come true, we will know the full potential of the mobile gambling. Another important reason is the gaming experience itself while playing a particular slot. For example I loooove to play Immortal Romance on my PC with speakers upped when a feature comes... the music inside this game is simply awesome! I loooove the music on immortal romance, it seems we all turn the volume up full blast on free spins then. The first one is my absolute favourite. But I can still play immortal romance on my ipad, using the flash browser so I can play anything that a flash version on a PC plays, and just as loud....but that's kind of taking the mobile-ness (is that a word?) out of it ...if that makes sense lol. I'm having a bad "getting my words out day today" do excuse me lol
cocopop3011
Well it's been 6 months since I started this thread and unfortunately, even though there has been a small improvement on Playtechs Mobile Casino, they are still trailing very far behind NetEnt and Microgaming! I have to say NetEnt are by far the best when it comes to mobile gaming...Microgaming are not far behind but there are a few little things that definitely need improving with Microgaming Mobile Casinos! It's such a shame we don't have more mobile gamblers here

Johnnygotthebone
To me, playtech lost me when I couldn't see balance while playing on iphone. Unacceptable. Also, their games are not as good as net or Mg. Not even close. There is more to online gaming than 100 free spins retriggered. That is in the same category as 500% bonuses. No interest to me. I am looking for steady play. Not 100 free spins every other hour.
Johnnygotthebone
I'm seriously considering to start playing mobile casino active very soon. It is so relaxing Val. I lost thousands on a PC. When I switched to mobe only, everything changed. Psychologically. I wish there were more games though. 50 games is not enough. I only play 6 or 7 of them. cocopop3011
But Valdes, as we have discussed in great detail mobile gaming you already know that playing on a mobile device doesn't mean you have to restrict to yourself to mobile casinos...so when you do try it out you don't have to restrict yourself to 50 games ... You can have the full selection just as you would on your laptop! So when you do try it out...please promise me you will try this too? cocopop3011
Is that only with Safari? No just their mobile casino in general - it has only 27 slots (last time I looked anyway)

cocopop3011
Well, bad for them. Should I suggest them something? A suggestion to Playtech!!! To make their mobile casinos BETTER! Even though they have improved 100% over the last few months, in my opinion they have a looooong way to go to be in line with providers like Microgaming and NetEnt
Keesha07
Why is it that USA can't play at any Microgaming casino's anymore? Is there any new casino's with their software we can play with Microgaming? I've been looking around since we were shut out of playing with them. How come it's okay to play all these other casino's in USA but still not my favorite which was Microgaming. Those were the only casino's back in the day we could play at that I would win all the time. I was constantly withdrawing money into my bank almost every single day. I had the best time's ever playing their casino's! I wish they could at least get the software & make new casino's with their software for USA players to play. I truly miss playing at Microgaming casino's. Thank's Christine
