What happens to monies won that exceed 10xmax payout?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Today I had played on a $20.00 chip given by Club World USA, (thank you by the way), which had a 20x playthru ( I played well over), and a 10x max pay out. I had won over $800.00, and now understand that I will only get up to $200.00 in withdrawing out. I just would like to know what happens to the other $600.00 winnings? Does it just get taken away?

Thank you,

Linda

Hi Linda and welcome to the AskGamblers forum! :)

Sorry to disappoint you, but yes, you are right! The remaining 600 would be simply wiped out, but this is the normal way of how the bonuses are actually working, so not a big drama here!

You seem like a fresh gambler and thus I will afford myself to suggest you reading some guides if you don't mind of course. It won't harm, but would definitely help if you are still not that experienced. ;)

How to choose an online casino safely?

Withdrawing from a casino - the whole truth!

Then you can continue with the rest of the guides in my signature.

You are most welcome! :D

And don't hesitate asking for whatever you need, we are here to help! ;)

I have a question I wondered about. So if someone wins like the progressive something like £2million and there is a withdrawal limit at that casino does it mean that they don't get the money all at once or is there like an exception to the rule?

It depends on the casino terms and conditions for the particular casino and which software in particular you are referring to. Most of the reputable online operators, using Microgaming, Playtech, Net Entertainment would pay the whole amount in a lump sum, because it is the software vendors, who would actually pay the bill, as they are the actual owners and organizers of the progressive game. As for the rest of the software vendors, I am not able to give you an unconditional answer - it all depends on the particular casino and on it sterms and conditions. ;)

I was dealing with the complaints summary when came on this one here - http://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/cool-cat-castino-i-won-they-wont-pay-c223

A typical example of how a casino should NOT treat its jackpot winners...

WOW!! That's a shame. I would be choked if that happened to me. But it's one of the reasons I choose not to play at casinos like this. So did he get his money in the end? Any of it? I'm presuming he didnt

We have 5 or 6 complaints of that sort in our complaints section and unfortunately only one of them was successfully resolved! :(  Not to mention, it took only some 7 weeks and a half?! :o At least we have a positive result, although only one, but still ... a reason to be happy from all the hard work of our team, dealing with complaints and Luciana especially! ;)

1 is better than none, and I think you all do a brilliant job on here. It's comforting to know us players have somewhere to come if we need help. After all it is our money these casinos are dealing with...and money is an important thing...makes the world go round doesn't it
