I was just a click away from registering at your casino and claiming this terrific 200% match deposit, when I spotted something quite disturbing on your website. As usual I always try to make a very thorough review for each and every online casino, I intend to join and yours does not make an exception of course. So, what caught me by surprise is the latest RTP stats, provided by your eCOGRA audit report. RTP stat for slots of only 79.02%?! To be completely honest, I have never seen such a low value for slots RTP in any Microgaming powered casino so far! Do you have any idea why there is such a big gap between your RTP stats and the usual RTP stats for a MGS casino, which usually vary between 95-100%? Thank you in advance. ;)

Those of you who know me better might have noticed that I simply could not resist on a good promotion, especially when it comes from a casino, powered by the most famous gambling software provider, which Microgaming is for sure! ;)

So, although I still didn't get an answer from Lucas (Video Slots representative here) to my question above this post, I couldn't resist and signed up in the casino. Deposit 250 euros and get the bonus of 500 in no time. SO far, so good and as I was supposed to wager 20 000, I've decided to start with a slot called Silver Fang. It is one of my favorute Microgaming slots and it's very appropriate for wagering, since it is rather low variance game and drops free spin feature quite often. Opened the game (all games are playable via browser, no download version) and set the bet to 1.00 per spin. ANd here's the point from where began my troubles. Could you believe it, that I made 1000+ spins and all I get in return was just 2 free spin features, both less than 30x bet! :shok: I play this game for years now, but never, I repeat never, saw such a poor odd of the slot before! :80: Tried 100 spins at max bet of 5.00 with the same devastating result. When my balance dropped below 350 I went to Thunderstruck II, which has often saved me in such situations with a rewarding feature or two, but... Not this time! Set the bet to 3.00 per spin I started to spin, but there was no big difference with Silver Fang. Never seen Thunderstruck II so dry before, I made 100+ spins and the only 5 of a kind was five 10s once?! :fool:  Come on, you got to be kidding me?! Eventually (I think you won't be surprised ) I lost everything in just a few hours! Well, I have been through this many times before, but never seen such bad odds before. I keep telling myself it was just a bad luck( even though I am pretty sure it was not :spiteful: ) and still trying to remember if I had such a horrifying experience with a Microgaming casino ever before! Actually the answer is no, but still keep on thinking about it!

 

So, Lucas, if you ask me am I going to deposit in your casino again, I'm afraid the answer would be No, I don't think so! :p

Secondly I was actually surprised how come I did not receive an email
notification regarding this thread posts. But anyway I’m here to help out whenever I can. :)

So Valdes, you are correct in stating the last RTP stat % (DEC 2012) Since it’sonly 1st of february just today.
And unlickily that was the only Low % there has been in the past year.
So if you take a look at what % there was throughout the whole year, ie; All mostlyhigh above 90%,
You will see that the average RTP % Throughout the year was of 92%.

Sometimes 98%, sometimes 97% they differ each month.

This being said, we have no control over that. Microgaming is the Casino – we rent
it. There will be casinos that will have higher RTP % at certain months, and
there will be other casinos which have lower % at certain months. It could be
compared as how certain affiliates earn more with a particular casino, whereas
others wouldn’t do as much as good with the same casino. There is nothing we
can do about the RTP.

Some players win, whilst some players loose.

So, I understand you, although I would suggest you another try and play with
the cashback system if you’d like. Through the cashback system , you will get
cashback when you win, and when you loose, in the following week. The cashback system
can’t be combined  with any other bonus or promotions. If you activate or have an activated bonus, no cashback can be
earned until completion or failure of the bonus or promotion.

I just want to inform everyone reading in this thread, that apart from myself explaining how the RTP works, Our CEO has looked into the December RTP % further more.

It is important for all to know, that the last shown RTP% (for the month of December 2012) was incorrect.

We are in fact in contact as we speak with Ecogra and they are looking into it with Microgaming in order to identify and resolve the "problem".

Thus, Ecogra have removed the (Dec12) Certificate from our site and will be updated with the correct one shortly.

To be completely honest this is the first time I hear about eCOGRA pulling out its own audit?! On top of that comes you statement

Just curious what will happen if it turns out that there is a real 'problem' with your RTP calculation? I know you can't even touch the software, nor even imagine changing a single number in it, but still quite an unpleasant situation! :(  At least for me, as a honest and worthy customer depositing in your casino! ;)

Btw, I just got my gameplay log from your CSR and tomorrow will try to calcilate my own RTP stats and would probably present it here.

 

And at the end, let me share an advice with you, hope you don't mind. :)

I've checked your News archive section but didn't manage to find anything regarding the latest of your announcements for the eCOGRA audit and so on. And such crucial information should be available to customers, don't you think?

We’d like to thank you for bringing this to our attention, as you very well
know this is not something that we can touch and you’re also correct that we
wouldn’t change a single number of course. (Apart from the fact that it can’t
be done). Since this is something not from our side, and that Ecogra have to
resolve it together with Microgaming.

Regarding your “news archive” comment, I do appreciate your advice, although it
is not in our resposnibility of auditing our own site but the auditors and so
we need to wait for a response from them. If anything, it is in Ecogra’s News
archive you have to check and not ours so to speak. With saying this, this
information will be available to customers of course and we are obviously going
to be announcing this in the news section as soon as we have an answer back
from Ecogra when the “problem” is fixed, and about what caused such thing.

If you’d like further info about this, you can always contact Ecogra about this
matter.

Now reagrding Emu, is a whitelable to us, and we share the same Casino.

So, you can rest your mind asssured that as soon as we get an update from Ecogra,
I will post it here to be crystal clear for everyone reading this thread :)

Hi Lucas.

 

Actually there's no way to contact eCOGRA via their Dispute Form application, because your casino is not in their list of certified casinos! ;) And sending them e-mail to the general contact mail is a pure waste of time since they receive thousands mails per week.

 

Anyway, I will wait and see the outcome of this situation, which IMHO appears to be rather strange at that point. I hope you don't mind for me being so interested in the case, but I'm your customer after all! :D

Just a quick, but very important update here! I have just received a notification from Lucas (the rep for VideoSlots.com casino) that the unpleasant issue with eCOGRA's audit is now resolved!

And at the end, I would like to say that by providing us with this crucial info even after three months (have to clarify that 99% of these three months were used by eCOGRA as we all know how fast they really are when it comes to solving an issue :p;) ), Lucas proved to be a man of his word! And in my humble opinion this is probably the most important quality, which every single casino manager should own! ;)
