20Bet Withholding My Winnings Due to Alleged Duplicate Account

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out for advice regarding an issue I am facing with 20Bet Casino. Here's a detailed summary of my experience:

1. **Account Verification and Deposit**
   - I created an account on 20Bet, went through their verification process, and successfully had my account verified.
   - After verification, I deposited money into my account, which was accepted without any issues.

2. **Gameplay and Winnings**
   - I played on the platform, enjoyed several games, and managed to win a significant amount of money.

3. **Withdrawal Problem**
   - When I attempted to withdraw my winnings, I was informed by the casino that my account is allegedly a "duplicate account," which violates their terms and conditions.
   - They have since refused to process my withdrawal or return my winnings.

4. **My Concerns**
   - If my account was considered a duplicate, why did they allow me to:
     - Complete verification successfully?  
     - Deposit money and play without any warnings or issues?  
   - It feels unfair to allow deposits and gameplay only to block winnings later using a rule that could have been enforced upfront.

5. **What I Need Help With**
   - Has anyone else faced a similar issue with 20Bet or other online casinos?
   - What steps can I take to escalate this issue and ensure my winnings are paid out?
   - Are there specific organizations or regulatory bodies I can contact regarding this matter?

@boldogb Usually, but not all the time, whenever a casino accuses a player of having a duplicate account, there might possibly be one, or somebody else's account that is using the same IP address (living in the same building for example).

There have been such cases before and got resolved by proving to the casino that there was indeed another person using the same IP address but having a separate account.

This might be your case too perhaps?

Thanks for the answer. I am the same person I gave the same datas for them so they know just one person created 2 accounts… the problem is how they could allow that after exclusion and how they could verify my datas and allow me to deposit and play and when I won why they taken away all my profits?

@boldogb If that is the case, then it is not an ALLEGED accusation of duplicated account because there actually is a second account, created by you, but the casino failed to stop you from creating that second account. The casino is therefore at fault and should refund back your deposit/s made into your second account.

Yeah that’s their fault for sure, but I deposited 20.000 HUF and won 130.966 HUF in a few hours doing sport bets and they let me play for long hours and deposit money and got my account verified (bank account and mobile bill and id card approved) only when I won and asked for withdraw they said that and took away my 110.966 huf profit

That is in fact quite a common scenario in so many other instances. It is one of casino's ways of delaying or denying payments, and also of confisticating players winnings!

@Afi4wins I know I broke their rules but what I could done is their fault as they let me play and made deposit and got my account verified and in the end when I want a withdraw they refused it and take all my profits away… it’s everything but not fair and I’ll do everything to get my winnings back, Do you have any other suggestion how I can get back my profits?

There have been many similar cases that I know but the resolution has almost always been a refund of the deposits. However, you may try filing an official complaint here using the AGCCS and hope for the best.

I already reported them to the Hungarian Consumer Protection Authority, Curacao Gaming Control Board) and also they dont want to share the information about their operator contact (TechSolution) which their obligation should be. What more I can do and is there any possible way to get my profits back and got paid it?

Sorry mate, I do not know of any better solution to your case, partly because the final decision is quite beyond our control, and the decision maker may be any one of the authorities, or even the casino management themselves.

Chances of getting your deposits back are much better than getting your winnings, so I wouldn't put much hope on the latter.
