Is playing Online Casino legal in banned States?

I am worried about whether playing online casinos on a mobile app using a VPN is safe in my state where gambling is forbidden. Can anyone guide me is it safe to play or may it harm me legally?

Which state/country do you live in? 

Vpn is allowed by some casinos but you  still need to confirm with the casino. So talk to them via live chat or email. You will have no problem with deposit/ withdrawals

@cuteanyavino Personally, I wouldn't take the risk simply because casinos can easily turn around and deny your withdrawal claim because your jurisdiction doesn't allow gambling, even though using VPN may have allowed you to access the casino.

Have you considered social casinos instead? Would depend which state you live in though.

Well, I believe the laws are drafted in a confusing manner on purpose. This is due to the fact that the US government caters to certain types of online gaming while leaving loopholes for ALL gambling in the process. I've been using online gambling sites for ten years and have never had any problems. Even when police in the United States penetrate illegal (offline) gambling organizations, the players are never prosecuted. Only the most important persons are in charge of the ring.
