Hello Askgamblers community.

If a casino customer ,have made all his deposits and withdrawals with payment/withdrawal method by Credit card and in Casino FAQ its stated that withdrawal method always needs to be the last one you used for deposit , can they ask you to verify new withdrawal method by online banking account number? Even despite that account number is not connected to Credit card number used to deposit money on there site.

I will be grateful for any reply or share of experience. Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum, sorry for the slow respinse.

To be honest, I'm not sure I understand, So you want to withdraw to a different method to the one you deposited with? Or you want to withdraw to the same one and they're asking you to verify a different one?

The only valid reason  for any casino to change to another withdrawal method, as in this case, is when the casino is having technical issues with the credit card, which sounds very unlikely, but probable.

Otherwise, it is the usual delaying tactics by the casino.

Think he's wondering if they can say 'we can't withdraw back to the credit card, can you give us your bank a/c details for a bank transfer instead'

The answer is yes they can - esp with Mastercard you'll see a lot of the time a warning that 'may not be able to w/d back to ' on the banking splash page: some of it's to do when the card was issued re the authentication requirements of the card so, some i really don't know why as some sites would have processed back to it and some would have said, for the same card, it's failed.

Oh, I was in Russia a couple of years ago and they used such a scheme for fraud. People were so naive and believed when they were told that they needed details for another transfer of money.

I think casinos should definitely indicate all payment methods on their sites, and not talk about it when it comes time to withdraw funds.
