Hi

I won around £1400 on Vegas Wild (there’s a Wild Vegas too but not sure they’re connected) but now I’m concerned about the amount of verification information they wanted. I had issues as I played using Revolut and they said they couldn’t pay into this account. I gave all my ID too and they then agreed I could be paid into my husbands bank account. Now I’m concerned as they have all his ID, my ID, utility bill, bank statement (said they needed to see the IBAN and BIC on it) and this card associated with his account (with some of the digits and the 3 digit number on the back censored).

Not sure I’ll even see my money but now I’m concerned about our details. 

Does anyone have any experience of this casino?  I’m having a nervous breakdown now.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I've never heard for them so I had to look them up..is it the Real Time Gaming Casino?  I can't find any license info. Are you playing from the United Kingdom?

Considering google finds it hard to find them and the fact the site looks like it was created during someone's lunch hour, might raise a red flag. No licence information.

They should have offered an alternative withdrawals method - to offer up hubby's a/c? Sorry, but that's madness by them. 

Based on that, maybe you'll see the money, maybe you won't - that's the problem when you play at places like these.

Why you playing there from the UK - Gamstop?

Re info...well, logically, how do you think a place like this approaches data security? Ermm, not much would be my guess

Yeah playing from UK.

Obviously would like the money, but now worried about what they can do with all the ID.  Apparently they’re new and are licensed in Costa Rica?? Saw them reviewed on a couple of sites but now wondering if those sites are made by them. Eeeek!!!

Nearly...

In all likelihood, morally depraved and greedy affiliates, so kinda the same thing. Same as the affiliates who promote 'we accept UK, Gamstopped players!'

Some of these guys don't care who they promote - i normally have a good feel whether the sites are run by decent folk by warning signs eg. if i see Gale and Martin/888 all being recommended, you can normally bet that they promote every dodgy one going - ergo, the reviews are worthless.

Yeah, everything about this feels wrong now and I’m quite scared. 
 

I can keep an eye on bank accounts/credit reports etc but worried what else they could do with the ID and bank statement? Any idea?

You don't really need that much for ID fraud to be honest - loans out in names, applications for certain products (i could say how you can do it on here but probably not best to demonstrate - I used to work in a fraud department).

A lot of information is out there so i wouldn't be overly worried.

But put it this way - if you got an email from Dr Zeus, Location Costa Rica asking for relatively sensitive data (including payroll), would you email them back and go here you go? Course not, so certainly not a casino based abroad who, and i say this kinda tongue in cheek but not really, are possibly criminally backed organisations in some cases. Just be wary - you can never prevent ID fraud, per se, but you can certainly make it harder for them. 

Even if they're legit, generally speaking, their security won't be as good as UK/EU operations - eg. our public sector bodies in Scotland are prohibited from storing data in cloud based application unless we can be guaranteed it is in a cloud server in the UK

Sign up to Clearscore/Credit Karma/MSE Credit expert if you haven't already and are worried (tho i wouldn't be) - they're free for the 3 main credit reference agencies.

Again, on a side note - even submitting info to relatively legit organisations - people are so blase about their information these days: i've heard submitting of 3 month bank details etc to places for 20 quid withdrawals - your choice, but personally i think it's mental.

The UKGC are also culpable in all this - they appear to have adopted a position of 'they can ask for anything they want - if that's the case, why then allow the unencrypted use of emails for this information? Arguable that it breaches data security/GDPR principles. 

There's a lot to be said about the creation of come sort of central processing unit where information can be sent/processed, with the assurance that you know it'll be handled securely - right now it's the wild wild west of passports and ID's flying around in cyber land - not good enough IMO.

Thank you so much. Yeah I have accounts for both of us on ClearScore and totally money so will keep an eye out. I feel like a bit of an idiot now to be fair. Causing myself more stress when I might not even get the payout anyway!

I searched the forum and found someone recently asking if Mr Sloty was a scam and it looks like the same Customer chat program with obviously fake British names. There’s not much info on google for Mr Sloty either, only that some reviewer has put them on the ‘blacklist’ page on his site.

Lesson learned but it’s not done much for my anxiety!

Unfortunately, it's how these vultures work - it's why, for example, to my fone today i've already had 3 SPAM messages about 'hey, we accept UK, even if Gamstopped'

Don't know your personal circumstances but if on GS this is what you will encounter if you try and continue to gambler. So, easier said that done, but quit. Even if you do win, some of these clip joints won't pay you - you have no legal recourse, you're in a bigger financial hole than before and now they have all your lovely personal information to hand so...is it worth it for some 20p spins?

Oh, and in terms of payouts - some will pay out to a certain amount - it's how they work; particularly if you've deposited more; maybe they'll pay out to 500 so you come back and spend 1500 more. Then you win 3k and, er, no. Sods law you hit a 10k x winner isn't it - in that case, they're will  be no Unibet 2 minutes payout, it will be a series of stalling tactics and then, per their form, they'll simply block you. 

They don't want their search engine optimisation being affected by constant 'no payout' results, so yeah, they'll maybe fire you a few of the withdrawals but then....boom. You're snookered. Not worth the stress.
