Casino Ratings.

Do you take much notice of them? I compared them here with another similar website and they often don't match up. Do the owners of websites like this get commission? lol

Well I am biased because I don't use any other sites. But in answer to your question, yes I do them as an indicator on whether tor not I will try a new casino. For example if I wanted to try a casino that had a rating below 5 I'd be very reluctant to try it.

Affiliates get commission, yes...that's hardly an industry secret 😛 Don't have the figures to hand but i believe the use of affiliates is cheaper than the more traditional forms of marketing; it's why casinos use them.

Are there dodgy affiliates? Yep

Are there dodgy casinos? Yep

Are there dodgy players? Too many to count.

Is one affiliate site 'better' than the rest? I take the view across a few sites to form an opinion - there's been review sites I've wholeheartedly agreed with and then seen the promotion of certain brands.

So, whilst they're a good guide and provide information to make a decision, i would never say 'Company A thinks they're a good casino, so they must be' - use all the info to hand and make your own mind up.

None of this is helped when you see the UKGC licence, albeit not many, several clip joints.

A casino rating will never determine if you are going to win or not. Even a 10 rating cannot guarantee or even help you win;. This my friend is down to pure luck but you already know that, right?

Well, many sites simply evaluate all of this by various criteria. I know for sure that in the first place reviews and ratings are made there according to average statistics, bonuses, winnings, and so on. The greater the chance of winning and the better the conditions, the higher the score. Most likely, other reviewers rate the site according to other criteria.

Whether the casino is legal in my jurisdiction. That's the most important one.
