Petition for Australian Government to lift Online Casino Ban!

Dear All,

I have been an online gamer and a member of AG  for a long time now. I loved playing  all kinds of online Casinos till 2 years back when Australian Government  banned online casinos and I watched all my favourite Microgaming, Netent and RTG casinos slowly disappear from my life one by one. 

Now, most Australian gamers are literally left with very few choices of games and casinos and are faced with either dodgy casinos or really thin choice of game providers. Most of the good games are off the list. Specially when we are all stuck indoors, there could be no better time for us to have our casinos back.

I would like all my fellow Australian gamers, friends and even Casinos that would like to see us Australians back to playing, please sign and share the petition that I have started.

Australians love their gambling or ‘punting’, which is a way of life for us. We also spend big on gambling so I implore casinos to jump on board as well.

Are they all banned? I wasn't actually aware of that! Thanks for finally deciding to comment in the forum after watching for two years. Good luck with your petition and keep us posted.

When a massive percentage of the population has just lost their jobs and businesses and the government is pooling every resource it can yeah sure the last thing they’re gonna want is more money our country doesn’t have getting sent to other countries. Calm down. We need to survive here too you know. And when people are depressed and down no they don’t need access to anything else that gives us quick highs and long lows. Jimmy Brings is delivering till Midnight so spend it on wine. They don’t get taxes it’ll never happen especially with all these shonky Curacao licenses that continue being given out left right and centre that are probably most of the reason we can’t play good legit casinos anymore either

Hey there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum  

As much as I do agree with most of what you said, calling all Curacao licensed casinos 'shonky' is not really fair. Let me just say that some of these Curacao licensed casinos are providing same (if not even better) quality and speed of service like the best UKGC/MGA licensed brands do. Not to mention the fact that following the series of huge fines issued by UKGC lately  one would think that there are plenty of somehow rotten apples among their licensees, right...
