fvdam27
Hello. I got a question regarding withdrawal methods a casino must offer to a depositing player. So a lot of casino's force you to use the same payment method u used to deposit with in case you have any winnings you want to withdrawal. Is there some kind of law/regulations that are in effect here? Because in my case they refuse giving me the option to withdrawal to my deposit method, saying its a non refundable method ive used. So they force me to use my bank account instead. The deposit method ive used was payment with my paysafecard account. While a paysafecard in itself is non refundable thats not the case for payment with your paysafecard while logged in to your paysafecard account. Ive made successfull withdrawals back to my paysafecard account in the past from other casinos (for example mrgreen) so i know this is a valid and refundable method. So my question... Are they allowed to refuse payment to my deposit method when its a valid refundable option. If they state terms on their website must they not also follow them themselves? Ive checked their website and all they state is that some payment methods are non refundable (they dont specify any) and in such a case any winnings will be paid to a bank account. But in this case they payment method is very much refundable so there is no reason to assume up front that you cannot use this method for any withdrawal after reading their website faq/terms. I mean the whole idea of using a paysafecard is not having to use my main bank account in the first place. Otherwise i would have used my bank account to make the deposit to begin with. So im curious to hear if they are allowed to do that. Its always the same with casinos it seems though. making a deposit is always very easy no matter where it comes from and then when its time to pay theres always problems/delays and ton of verifications to be done for our own security (yeah right). But if i make deposits with 5 different credit cards registered under different names theyll happily accept and never bother you about any security issues. I didnt even won much but I just cant stand how they always seem to make it difficult to get your money back.
ValDes
Hey there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum Yes, there are certain laws/regulations in regards of payments going IN and OUT from online casino operators. These are various regulatory requirements, usually in regards of existing AML directives for example. It's not unusual that your PMOP (preferred method of payment) would work both ways (deposit & withdrawal) in one casino but not with another. That all depends on the payment provider and/or the relevant casino operating license. Rest assured that IF the operator offered you to process your withdrawal via bank transfer it means everything with your payment is 100% legit, otherwise they won't use the most 'clean and clear' method of payment in a first place Good luck! : Fiekie247
Fiekie247
Well they state they will send the withdrawal to same deposit method used, however I believe the casino can at the discretion change their minds about the withdrawal methods. I mean if we look at Unique Casino - They used to allow all deposits methods, but only bank transfer for withdrawals.
pinnit2015
Surely their unique discretion must be outlined in their terms? Some casinos have an overriding term of ‘yeah, that’s normally how we do it but we can chose’ You say it’s possible with other casinos to do this but, and as I don’t use PS I’m not sure, that may not be the case for others depending on their processor? Eg on ikibu I couldn’t withdraw back to MasterCard; on Casumo I could. Several times I used to get the message; withdraw back to your MC as I auto thought they wouldn’t allow me... Only reason I can think of because from a compliance POV it’s far better and easier to demonstrate back to same method than it is muddying the waters with bank transfers
