Hey there everyone, tech team here. Yeah, we have been informed that an increased percentage of users saw this issue during the past week. Our top agents were on it, and in communication with "internet's higher powers", the issue should have been resolved since Tuesday July 28th at 14h GMT. Since then we got no new reports and it has been calm. In short, the Captcha system decided to start displaying for people who were by no means considered bots or malicious, the vendor fixed it asap. If you still find that you are seeing Captcha challenges, please tell us. We are monitoring the system actively and do not see any irregularities right now, but as you know, something can always slip through the cracks.

Hey gang, i was a busy bee the last couple of days. We listened to all the requests for changes and prioritised them, so you can definitely expect more changes and fixes in the future The forums community is very important to us, so we want to make the best experience possible for you guys and for everyone to feel like at home. Today marks the day we upgraded the whole infrastructure that holds the forums together, and you should be feeling huge speedups in performance (with no downsides hehe)! Now i'm going back to work work work, and if you have any questions for me, i am always nearby just post here and i'll answer asap. Thanks to our beautiful Support, Mod and Admin teams that helped with this whole ordeal, and thank you everyone else for keeping your sanity while we had that little transitional period of low performance. I hope it payed off Anyways, will report back once we deploy any new fixes for the stuff you guys requested. This topic shall not die and be forgotten

Yes. I can see this for myself now, bell is not working. Will add that to the list of urgent fixes, thanks for the tip! Also on mobile when i click on it, it scrolls the page back to the top which is very irritating to me as i have to scroll all the way back down. What do you guys think about adding “back to top” / “go to bottom” buttons for threads? From using the forum these past few days i noticed i personally need those As for the speed, hehe, theres more performance in store, we’re just half way there

Thanks for wishing me welcome, you might not know me, but i sure as ***** have read the foruma a thousand times, while developing stuff, so it already feels like home hehe. Back to topic - as you might have felt, we are definitely still working on making the community a better place. Today marks the day we upgraded subsystems, which was waiting for a loong time, and you can already feel the change in the air. I believe that median pageload on forums is now something like 800 - 2400 miliseconds! And thats not all! We have more performance-related forum upgrades in store during the next week! I promise you won’t be dissapointed. Sorry about the seemingly random downtimes during the last week, consider that to be all the back-payments we had owed to the old forums hehe.
