    Hi @Seven7n7,
Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us, but just as @cocopop3011 mentioned, you have to use the special link on the review page.

If someone is running into some issue with BitStarz, I'm always happy to help, but in this case, it involved following a certain procedure through AskGamblers,
that is a bit out of the BitStarz control as far as experience goes.

If you have any issues regarding anything happening whilst playing at BitStarz or any questions, I'm happy to answer here or in a PM.

Best of luck at Syndicate Casino if  that's your casino of choice, but we're of course very happy to welcome you at BitStarz as well if you haven't
    tried us already : )

You're pointing out a lot of valid things there, @pinnit2015.
I understand the perhaps bigger casinos and casinos aspiring for growth that will please shareholders (especially if you're publicly traded), that those casinos
wish to enter regulated market for long-term stability.
With that said, UK is one of the most saturated gambling market with a long tradition of gambling, which makes it very hard as a new brand to make it over there,
I mean, there's plenty of casinos who's been trying to throw money at establishing a brand over there and lost millions of pounds. I know for example LeoVegas has
to grind, and spend an insane amount of money over time to get a foot in the door (I was never in favor of it when I was working there).

On top of that, as you pointed out, we have to adapt to the UKGC rules, pay tax, and be worried about making a single mistake to avoid getting slapped with a
massive fine (that they love to hand out).

We love our UK friends (and sh*t, I'm a citizen), but unfortunately, it doesn't make sense for us to venture into the UK market at this time.
Sorry for being a negative Nancy, but I'm just trying to tell it as it is (from a casino operator perspective).

2016, I think, the UKGC have deemed BC to be a cash equivalent and therefore, for what i can see, there's nothing that precludes a casino from offering it to residents to the UK. In fact, i think the L&L group may have done so but, IIRC, withdrew it....In fact, the 5th EU ML Directive addresses BC, albeit, categorising it as high risk.
Problem is that the UK's response to it has been, shall we say, lukewarm at best. Very little guidance from them on the back of it. From a compliance point of view, the chances of them issuing a blueprint to casinos to both accept BC and still maintain their licence conditions is as likely as Labour winning the next general election. Unlike MGA?
Now, if i was Bitstarz, seeing how 6 million quid fines are handed down to casino's who deal in FIAT, my next thought would be 'they'll have a field day with us if we offer BC' - the amount of work that would be required to ensure compliance would be quite considerable (as part of the BC risk assessment there are so many other variables to take into consideration - eg. do they use mixers?)
There's a fundamental disconnect ATM between where companies are going in the future and things like AML legislation - on the one hand companies are taking advantage of DLT for efficiencies/security, whilst on the other hand some regulatory markets are saying 'oh....the currency of terrorists and Money Launderers'.
Playing Devil's Advocate tho...you have a MGA licence? If you have to comply with AML legislation and it satisfies the MGA, then surely it should be fine for offering to the UK? - after all the UKGC's views of AML are based on EU Law .
Does anyone know if any UKGC casino's offer BC?

Pretty sure this is how most casino determine if they should offer UK:
Tax: 2% or 20% plus, ok, check
Regulatory Compliance: will add X amount onto our operating costs, ok, check.
Risk of fines by regulatory body; increasing, ok, check
Tax on bonus's offered: Might make it hard to break into market, ok, check
Murmurings of max stakes: Might drive away high rollers (70% of a casino's revenue?), ok, check
Competitors: why have some left the market and we're looking to go in? Ok, check
And that's even before we get to the issue of people wanting their money back on the basis that they lost, errr, gambling (bit of a broad brush statement as there are some genuine cases)
You don't need a PHD in Business Sciences to come to a half baked conclusion of the benefits of setting up in the UK on the basis of that. In fact, a decision could be made before the morning tea break of senior executives.
It's almost, dare i say it, that there's a nefarious agenda in the background against casino's by certain political groups. Surely not...*spots the liberal Guardian newspaper on the tea break desk*

    Hi guys,
From our end, we'd love to offer the games to everyone in the World, but unfortunately, the game providers do not agree.
They can restrict access to the games for a variety of reasons, including license, currency, location, etc, and unfortunately
it's very little we can do to circumnavigate that.

For all the crypto guys out there, the best way to get maximum game access would be to use our conversion option, where you select
a FIAT currency such as EUR or USD, go to "Deposit" and choose Bitcoin as the payment option. You'll find a BTC address there where
you can send Bitcoin, and it will automatically convert to that particular FIAT upon deposit, which allows you to play a bigger range
    of games.

We try to persuade our various game provider friends to adopt crypto, but some of them are not super happy with that. My very
uneducated opinion as to for example NetEnt not offering it is due to them being a publicly-traded company and are afraid of
she pseudo-anonymous aspect of crypto. Then again, Evolution is not complaining

Excellent that you pointed that out, Fiekie247.
We're trying to make it as clear as possible what the minimum deposit is, as our payments processor doesn't process lower amounts than the ones stated on the deposit page.
If lower amounts are deposited, it doesn't even reach us at BitStarz, so neither the player nor us wins in that case. So just so emphasize what Fiekie247 already pointed out,
please don't deposit lower than the minimum deposit limit : )
    Happy Halloween everyone,

Just to add to that if I may - Please note that when you play in USD or Euro and choose Bitcoin as payment option, the minimum deposit is 30 USD/Euro. Do not deposit lower than this otherwise your money would somewhere stuck in the air and Bitstarz cannot retrieve it.

    It's currency restriction.
You play with Euro and USD - All Providers are available
If you play in BTC - Netent, Blueprint and 2/3 others are missing, simply because the providers does not want to accept wagers in BTC according to @OlleBitStarz Who can confirm this.

    Hi Fiekie!
Mr Pinnit just answered the question actually  : )

So, to give a brief background. Direx NV offers its platform to a lot of casinos and when I say platform, that includes the game providers on offer, payment options, etc.

When it comes to everything else, such as the various promotions, customer support, speed of withdrawal, game limits, verification of documents, etc, that's individual
depending on the casino (and where we as a casino have an opportunity to stand out from the rest). As we have access to the same games and payment methods, it leaves
service, bonuses, speed, etc, down to the individual operator.

We're of course very proud of our fast verification speed and cashouts, and it comes down to us probably hiring a lot more support staff to be able to offer fast cashouts,
fast verification and also access to support 24/7 with enough extra staff to ensure our loyal players are close to never in any queue.

All other brands on the Direx NV platform are competitors to BitStarz, and we don't know them personally nor do we share any profits or anything with them, they're completely separate companies : )

    I hope that makes sense : )

    Olle

Edit: A decent parallel might be one of those modular houses you can buy. You get the basic foundation of the house (Direx) and it's up to you to install custom details and decorate the place (BitStarz).

    Hi guys,
Thanks so much for the kind words, I really appreciate that, just so you know
There are always two sides to every story, and as long as both we (the casino) and the player can fully share our perspectives with the community, that's
    the most important thing.

At the end of the day, we might disagree with each other, but at least we get the opportunity to fully share our arguments and hopefully learn something
    in the process.

Anyone is more than welcome to reach out in a PM as well in case you guys have any questions about BitStarz, but I'm also happy to share my perspective
about online casino things in general. So if you want an honest reply from someone who's been around long enough to see quite a few things, I'm very happy
to give my five cents. Maybe we can do some Q/A or Mythbusters, Casino Style : )

    Have a great week, guys.

Might just be the case that the company just utilises their platform, leaving cash out times at the discretion of each different casino? I could have a casino using their platform and tell punters I pay in 2 minutes and you tell yours two days, for example. Might depend on the specifics of the agreement and what’s actually ‘bought’ as part of it?

    Hi there,
We wouldn't close anyone's account just because you had an account on another Direx N.V whitelabel, so there's gotta be something
    else to the story here.
I managed to find your account at BitStarz, and your account is not closed. What you were denied though was the no deposit bonus offer
as it has been used on the same IP as you are using. As we're quite strict with one welcome bonus per IP, unfortunately, you were not able
    to claim this one.
We also mentioned this in the chat you had with our customer support, and there was no mentioning of you using an account on some other site
linked to us. Also, the operators behind BitStarz doesn't have any other casino, so outside of BitStarz, we have no idea where else you enjoy playing : )

    Must have been some misunderstanding.

Not really, apart from ask them and they may reset it but obviously they've no obligation to do so. If you were a longstanding customer they're more receptive to things like this as they can see your typical stake etc. Pretty much depends on their mood.

Their terms state one account per member but it reads as one account per Bitstarz account.
As for their sister sites, had a quick scan and couldn't even tell if they had any, never mind who they are.
They used to have a rep here, Ollie i think, who can maybe confirm.
