  1. I am a man of many talents Just searched to see where 1.16 term came from and they popped up I got my withdrawal after fighting with a casino that did the same - even then, they said they'd pay me as 'goodwill' - told them i didn't want it paid as GW I wanted them to pay me what i actually won. Having said that it was for about 1k, not 17k - never saw another penny from me.
  2. We've seen some improvements in the UK but still more to do - like not allowing folk to enter into bonus banned games (if you let them play it with bonus funds i think you should pay them), still issues with max bet etc but there's been an improvement. Of sorts.
  3. Findings from the CMA review a while ago: does this sound familiar; i'll cherry pick The CMA has found that many online gambling operators could be breaking consumer protection law - YEP and instances where they have restricted customer rights and ability to access their own money and winnings YEP Consumers being unable to clearly distinguish between play with the bonus balance and the deposit balance, in particular, which balance they are about to play and the terms applicable DEFO YEP And my favourite and one which encapsulates this: The CMA’s findings have indicated that currently there is an imbalance between gambling firms and consumers – too often weighted in the favour of the operator
  4. Getting 20 x on Rise of Merlin is a mission, seemingly a PNG employee, sorry, normal player, is hitting 2k x on them.
  5. They'd take issue with the waterfall and the music, saying they're targeting children for gambling. And limit autopay to 5 per session. Oh Valdes....you think the UKGC know what RTP stands for? How cute
  6. It also doesn't make business sense (unless you've cash flow problems) If i'm a casino i want to pay that player their 17k or whatever. Knowing that, if all hassle free, some perks thrown in, I've got a player for life. Given the house edge etc I'll likely get that, especially if a long term player, 17k plus interest. Name? Is it that MonteCrypto? I wouldn't wait for another reply - just file a complaint. And i would do just the one, not several.
  7. Taking the OP at his word, especially owing to the fact that they didn't activate any bonus offers, this is as dodgy as F. Secondly, as i stated, i play at plenty of sites where, if i'm up in real but have a bonus amount i can bet as much as i want and simply forfeit the bonus upon withdrawal - only exception is places like Casumo whereby they mix the two. Without getting into semantics - how is the bonus active if it's not in use? Ie being played? Did your real cash contribute to the wagering of the bonus? Regardless of the legal ease of all this, a lot of decent places will apply the spirit of the bonus/play. Disproportionate, unfair and likely illegal if so. So we've not got the point in faceless online casinos where they go 'hey, pop a bonus into the account and we can forfeit their winnings?'
  8. Thing is, if it is anyway tied to the folk in their house by virtue of stored details on a laptop etc, the person will be held liable for it and not be entitled to any refund etc.
  9. Thing is, and this is where it is tricky for the casinos - in practice, it is really difficult to know if there are one or two people playing. What were the dates of the account creations? Have you had two for a long time? If say, yours were created a number of years ago, both regularly played, verified, then as a casino i would have much more assurance that the 2 are separate. If you created 'yours' days/hours after the wife SE then that would look decidedly iffy.
  10. You can understand them being a bit dubious in cases like this - it's a common practice for many who SE and feel the need to play. But if you can pass verification and she, then i really don't know what grounds they have (they're a rubbish casino BTW) What are people to do in a household of 6? Canvas everyone to make sure there's no SE knocking about? What else do they have linking the accounts - joint card? From a casinos perspective the best thing is to pay out and close both accounts. SE is limited to the player, not the household. They'll maybe then trot out ye old '2 accounts at same address' - well, they allowed you to register 2 so therefore they should payout to two IMO.
  11. Reminds me of when real and bonus weren't separate and a casino dropped a goodwill bonus into my account - it then added 2k wagering. Dodgy as *****. Ended up fighting the corn with them. The fact that you play with real first means they could have awarded you 1000 bonus's and it shouldn't affect you if in real cash then? To be honest they sound like they just don't want to pay you
  12. You start arbitrarily applying bonus rules to real cash you're on a slippery slope. Plus, it runs counter to the segregation of the two sets of funds - unrestricted ability to withdraw your real cash balance etc. Truth be told, i don't trust casinos not to make weird and wonderful post play judgements so i normally zero my balance with a bonus or forfeit it if high enough - ad nauseam, but some of these terms are, from a layman's perspective, unfair and would be judged as such i would bet. The one I'd love to see ruled on is say, over 5000 spins you place one spin 50p above the max bet. Had no win. But you see casino's confiscate winnings. Honestly could not see any consumer judge ruling in favour of the casino - it's disproportionate to say the least, had no effect on the outcome etc. Regardless of what their terms state.
  13. This is Redbet where i used to play 7.9. You are not allowed to place any wagers that exceed the maximum bonus bet size when using bonus money. Clear as day - 2 separate wallets, one attracts the bonus rules, one doesn't. so max bet exceed to your hearts content when in real cash and then into the rules. What's their term say regarding max bet?
  14. No harm in naming casino. Said before it’s the ambiguous wording on some of their terms: bonus in play equals you’re playing with bonus money. Some have vague terms such as a bonus in your account which may suggest even if you don’t dip into it, you’re still bound by the bonus terms. Which is stupid. And primarily designed to ***** people over. Casinos I play with I bet over the max sometimes if it’s just real cash as long as not in bonus. Confirmed with their CS that it’s fine as long as don’t dip in
  15. Casumo have been publishing the biggest wins on their site over 2000x and shows you how subjective games are: PNG hold the most for games (rough count) over 2000x - but i hate them. Obviously someone's winning on them. BTG's games are nearly all there in the top 30 or whatever it is (Bonanza, WWTBAM, FC,LD ) No white rabbit which is weird MG? Don't even think they appear - not surprising. If Netent are beating you it's time to pack up Red Tiger have a good number in there... For me the worst one is blueprint - aside from Napoleon. Probably best if had access of likelihood of 250-500x, 500x plus - some providers have that (tho not publically)
  16. Even if Kindred viewed it as somewhat similar to a 'chargeback', and hence closed your account, it wouldn't affect/or shouldn't affect other casinos - somewhat of a myth that there's this big giant database of who's charged back and this is shared across casinos - if true, and i doubt it, it'd be illegal in all likelihood. So i wouldn't really care about that. I'd be more concerned of the possibility of folk you know using your details -how would they know your unibet details, do you autofill? My experience was that it took 30 days to get my cash back when it happened to me so. If your banks half decent they'll grant you a temporary overdraft for a week etc (providing the accounts secure)
  17. Dunno what the latest stats are re the base game but in the past you were looking at 68% or something being the RTP in the base game so, by that, ***** bonus round were to be expected - compare that to Reactoonz that must run at base game RTP <50%. I'm now struggling to see where the RTP is actually coming from. Out of all the BTG's i prefer Bonanza but DHV/Lil Devil (from what seen) are the 2 that will genuinely give you a monster. Don't seem as nefarious.
  18. Difference between it now and 2016/17 is the base game - it's died completely, meaning you don't get the cash recycled to wait for the bonus. They play HV but pay MV at best - want a provider that, as far possible, is true HV ish then Merkur/Novomatic/Push/No Limit are the real providers of that type. BTG are smoke and mirrors IMO. IMO the best one was possibly White Rabbit...but it's unplayable without the buy feature now.
  19. As long as you don't Self Exclude you can normally just re-open a lot of them. Bigger issue here is that if you really want to stop you need to get out of your head the idea 'open later': all or nothing, that wee voice is just the addict calling. For example, i intend on stopping playing this May - personal circumstances such as new house, new job and a few other things mean that all my spare cash for a time period will be diverted into other things. I'll probably just Gamstop for a year to save any temptation. But i'm aware that after the year, should i try and re-open, i can see some casino's may not allow me - it is what it is.
  20. If you check the other thread you'll see i got 3.60 from a 4 quid GOLD. Nature of the beast though - still pick Bonanzas infuriating play over a PNG any day. Lil Devils the one you want for true HV - rest are MV pretending. Monopoly is awful and the new bonanza looks as gimmicky as the rest. Their bossman CEO appears to be a snake oil salesman.
  21. Have you ever been asked though by a UK bookie like Sky Vegas/Willy Hill? Cos I've not been asked by any of them for it - only by MGA casinos. Conclusion - either they're not adhering to AML laws or, presumably having large UK legal team, either don't deem it necessary or have alternative ways of confirming ur the a/c holder etc. Said before you don't get this withdrawal palava from the above places, it's predominately only MGA's with absurd requests for selfies and pics beside the PC and asking for expired cards.
  22. Maybe the climate took its toil on him Yeah, bit samey but they do 40p balance builder games well. Can’t hit for life nor money above 2 quid tho
  23. Still in many ways prefer land based - never had any issues in being paid - in fact, other than starting online, it never even occurred to me that 'oh, will they pay?' was even an issue - such is the faceless internet.
  24. What happened to Dan at Pragmatic?
