  1. Good morning!

I am always thinking about US players joining us in our Netent slots adventures and it will surely become reality very soon.

Recently Netent has sign its first customer agreement in the USA which will lead to a full suite of multichannel Netent games to be offered at bwin.party and Borgata brands in the state of New Jersey!

Once the agreement goes into effect bwin.party operator which is  behind New Jerseys online gambling platform will start to offer Netenet games trough its brands PartyPoker,Borgata Casino and BorgataPoker.

Before this story goes live Netent must complete licensing process that is required by the state's law.

Everything  depends  on New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and their final approval .

All I can say is that there is no doubt we can expect many more surprises from Netent in the future along with their new releases.

    cheers!

    Thanks for the post Awena.

I must admit NetEnt is just going from strenth to strength. In a relatively short period of time it become the most popular software provider amongst EU operators and now it's on the verge of 'conquering' America. From the looks of things it's busy giving Microgaming a serious run for its money.

  2. Glad that you like this guide. It's was written long time ago and I was determined to present all this important withdrawal info the way that players are seeing it, something as 'player writing for players' you know...

Withdrawals are not always clearly defined especially on portal sites. I find that most portals try and redirect their players off to the casinos as quickly as possible without arming them with the necessary info-you did a good job by covering this.

I already have my portal, it's called AskGamblers. It is not my own portal of course, but I am somehow thinking of it as my second child.   ;)

Ah, yes of course and a good one, what more can I say.

  3. First I would like to assure you that no matter how much weight the casino is attaching to those pompous verbal misunderstandings,
I must admit I had a chuckle when I read this.

Valdes, first of all I'm not going to give a 'generic response' to a well-crafted article. The info in it is akin to that of a gold mine-thanks! Your observations is further solidified by years of experience as a player. Something we as players and affiliates can relate to.

The 'God'-like clauses, spot on. Unfortunately we just have to roll with the punches until the jurisdictions the operators are licensed in starts stepping up to the plate. I guess this is the price we must pay for entertainment. If you ever decide to start your own portal I think you will do very good for yourself.

  4. Look at CasinoEuro they have a daily free spins offer now. You can get 1 to 5 free spins daily, wow.

The change of winning anything with 1 to 5 free spins is very small but that's ok.

What not ok is, is that when you do win a couple of cents they have this 1 euro bonus rule. If you do not win above 1 euro your winnings will be removed. Really? yes really..

Like this I can give away free spins too..just ridiculous!

The idea behind this offer is to get players playing, it's a small incentive. You don't have to deposit, it's purely for entertainment purposes in the hope of enticing players to make a deposit. In life their ain't such a thing as a free lunch.

  5. I don't know if the traditional 'casino bonus' is dead in the way we all know it at the moment or is about to die any time soon. In fact, my personal feeling is that bonuses were never so popular and alive as they were in the last couple of years and it seems like the vast majority of online gamblers cannot even imagine an online casino which is not offering a bonus at all. I can talk days on this subject, but I know that most players have their rock solid beliefs and there is really no point in trying to convince anyone... :)

I agree with you that the bonus is not dead per se. But the emphasis and most players agree with me is that the modern bonus has became laced with terms that's not always in the best interest of the player.

One more interesting point... I've seen so many players complaining from weird and sometimes, even unfair bonus terms, however I've never seen some of them notifying the relevant licensing authority and asking questions how come that a casino with such terms and conditions could get a license.. It is so easy to say it was player's fault, player was supposed to read the terms and stuff like that, but hey, let's face it, where's the prevention here? Why those who grant a license and guarantee casino fairness don't inspect and approve the bonus terms for example?...

It is and will always be a nice incentive to both loyal and new players.

I'm stumped as well and a very valid point. After all it's the job of the jurisdiction in which the operator is licensed to ensure that it operates within the jurisdictions' quality guidelines. At times I get the feeling that some reputable jurisdictions are just hot air.

  6. Thanks for the post.

The site was operated from Costa Rica, without a doubt a haven for criminals running online gambling sites. In part this is due mainly becuase the government is extremely lax and corrupt when it comes to enforcing its gambling laws.

Costa Rica-based gambling Web site that has ties to the Mafia, the office of U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said.

Dominick Barone, 45, of Springfield was sentenced to 18 months and 38-year-old Eric Patten will serve 22 months in prison. Barone must also forfeit $100,000 and both must pay a $5,000 fine.

The two were involved with Beteagle.com, which was owned by 78-year-old Joseph Graziano of Springfield. Authorities say the site was used for illegal online sports betting and was operated by Barone and members of New York's Genovese crime family, among others.

  7. yep, many players as i know were called bonus abusers and the casinos refused to pay, just because they were only playing when some casino had bonuses, sooo why do they give those bonuses and even send them in my email address if i am later bonus abuser,i am mean how stupid is that

This can be frustrating when a casino sends you a 'special bonus' offer to you Inbox, you use it, just to be told that you've breached some lousy term and now you're labelled as a 'bonus abuser'.

To further substantiate your argument I've taken the liberty of quoting some players' replies regarding the sub (sign up bonus) over at Casinomeister and I agree with them 100 percent.

I've never liked SUBs, and I am absolutely convinced that they need to be laid to rest. I'll be doing my part in asking Accred Casino reps to put on their thinking caps and try to steer away from this method of marketing. We're going to be looking at other positive aspects of gaming - focusing more on the games and other attributes that casinos can offer than offering a SUB. At this point in time, bonuses and their convoluted rules have just gotten a bit too much.

Reading through the responses it looks like were talking both. I have only one casino that I do deposit bonuses at, mainly due to the play through being 10X. I have done the 30X, 40X, etc., and in all cases in my little pea brain decided that by the time I had met the play through requirements I had wasted a lot of time regardless of whether I was up or down at that time. I took a deposit bonus not too long ago, had one of those lucky days and at the time of meeting play through requirements was up about $6000. I played a while longer and decided to make a withdrawal for $5000. Shortly after making my request.

I received an e-mail stating that I had made a $20 bet and the maximum allowed by the bonus requirements was $10 so my withdrawal was not allowed and my account was zeroed. After going to the deposit bonuses requirements and spending an hour or two reading them, I found the restriction. After getting sick to my stomach, I made myself a promise to not use any bonuses offered except the one casino mentioned above. My memory is not photographic by any means and I always read the requirements prior to using a bonus but being able to remember all of them is just not a possibility. I guess what gets to me the most is that any and every casino could build their software to not allow a move that is not allowed by the bonus requirements, or at least alert you prior to the move being made, but they don't. I understand to the tune of $5000 plus why they don't do this.

Soooooooo, I do not take part in the casino's offering of "free" money to play their games. My gaming activity is basically an entertainment based activity with the sidebar of the possibility of the entertainment being free "break-even days" and occasionally a rare "paid" activity and I definitely realize that most of the time you pay for the entertainment enjoyed. Playing with "my" money pretty much assures that I am able to make the decision when I am offered that rare opportunity to get paid for my entertainment whether or not I want to take advantage of it without having to worry about missing something in the "fine print" (it's all fine print for me). I would just like to finish with this -- Casinos, if you really want to offer "bonus" money for me to play at your business, fix your software so that you are helping me to not make a stupid mistake by not having a photographic memory! Thinking about it, perhaps this is the players way of giving you bonus money!

  8. I deposited 200 euros at eurlotto casino. Betting 1 euro pr spin on cazino zeppelin lost 100 euros without a bonus round, 100 on DOA 0.90 pr spin no bonus round and both games paid no prices above 10 euros.

Lost 200 in 6-7 minnutes. Deposit again 200 same exact thing... So in basicly 15 minnutes i lost 400 euros betting 1 euro pr spin..... Go to support they give me the standrard copy paste answer.. After allitle back and forth they give me 30 euros!!! bonus... Not even 10% of my deposits...

I have never, ever seen anything like this, i mean come on what are the odds... Im so convinced now that its rigged im actually glad this happened because i will never play again after this. Its just insane.. My head cannot even comprehend how this is possible. 15 minutes!!! 400 euros gone...

I'm sorry to hear this and must admit it's quite a pretty penny you lost there. I wish you the best of luck next time.

As Helena pointed out bad sessions/excessive losses are part and parcel of gambling, if it was not we wouldn't have called it gambling.

  9. European-based operators licensed in reputable jurisdiction such as Alderney, Gibraltar, Malta or the UK normally offer their players bonuses with reasonable terms. This is in stark contrast to operators licensed in Costa Rica or even Curacao, also known as the 'cowboy' jurisdictions since they're poorly regulated. Their bonuses are huge but have excessive terms, I think one must be mad to accept them.

  10. Hi, Cassaon-casino! This is an interesting topic, in my opinion. I really like playing with bonuses, but lately I've been choosing them very carefully. I am quite unlucky when it comes to wagering, so I rarely take bonuses that have higher than 30x or 35x wagering, because I know at the very beginning that I will end up losing. So bonuses that I actually like or am capable to wager are very hard to find. When I do decide to play with a bonus, I bore live chat with as many questions as possible, about my eligibility to bonus, allowed games etc just to be 100% sure what I am signing up for. And I almost always play with small bets so just in case I know I haven't abused any terms because casinos have many terms for bonuses and if you're not careful, it isn't too hard to break them.

    Hi Blondie,

I agree with you and thanks.

If the bonus has a steep playthrough attached to it, it's better to leave it or if you do accept it make a small deposit to make cashing out easier. The bonus terms are becoming more ludicrous by the day. From the looks of things very few casinos now offer a bonus where the playthrough is below 30 times.

Plus the modern bonus is bogged down by ludicrous terms such as:

    1. Max. bet rule of 10%.

    2. Some bonuses even have a max. amount imposed that could be won from them:

”Players staking more than 10% of their real money deposit in a single bet will be flagged as high-risk players and shall be monitored. The Casino reserves the right to void any winnings derived from such abusive behaviour. Example: a player depositing €100, then immediately proceeds to wager over €20 per hand will be deemed high-risk user. High-risk players will not automatically be deemed advantage users, but will fall under a higher level of security and their gameplay will be monitored for changes in bet value.”

”Any player who increases their starting balance by more than double will be prohibited from reducing their bet size by more than 50% for the remainder of the bonus wagering requirements. This will be calculated on the largest bet size made up until that point. If a player is deemed to have acted in this way, it will be considered abusive play and will result in the confiscation of any bonus and accrued winnings and the suspension of the player’s account. For example if a player’s starting balance was £100 and he/she has a win or series of wins that takes his/her balance above £200 while betting £10 per round, the player would subsequently have to complete the remaining bonus wagering requirement with bets of £5 per round or greater”.

    3. The games they can be used to play are becoming less and less.

    4. Before you accept a bonus you need a machet to work your way through the bonus terms which is an essay in itself.

Also, what stumps me if the online casinos have less overheads than a land-based casino why are their bonuses (most of them at least) not player-friendly? I understand that there are bonus abusers but surely the casinos can do better than this.

  11. Hi All,

Valdes, hope I got the placement right ^_^

Trust that you're keeping well and that you had some fantastic wins of late.

The reason why I started this thread is I'd really appreciate your thoughts/feedback on the 'Death of the Deposit Bonus'. Casinomeister started a similar thread recently on this and it really took off. The general consensus is that the bonus has become bogged down not only by the steep playthrough but by excessive terms as well.

In short the modern bonus is not player-friendly and deemed by many as bonus traps. To be honest I have to agree with this statement.

  12. Hello :)

i am just wondering about which license a casino operates under to provide gambling i Norway?

Most operators normally place a link at the footer section of their websites or a badge which indicates in which jurisdiction it is licensed. You can also find the licensing information under the general terms and conditions or in the 'About Us' section. Or you can contact the live chat operator.

  13. Hey guys!

What is your favorite place to look for hot jackpots? I am in the search for something that will give me the overview of all slots with jackpots, which ones are hot (has a high value - the jackpot is high compared to when it is normally hit), the average hit amount etc.

I am guessing there are some services like this available out there, but I haven't seem to find any.

Also, what criteria are most important for you when you are looking for a nice jackpot slot?

Have an awesome Friday out there :)

    Welcome to AG.

Are you referring to jackpots in general or progressives as well? The NetEnt slots such as Starburst, Gonzo's Quest, Steam Power, Jack and the Beanstalk and Dracula is a good start. They have lucrative bonus rounds, great graphics and pin-dropping audio.

The only way you're going to find out which jackpots are hot, how much they paid our recently and the average bet per spin is to contact the support staff at the casino. They'll be more than happy to give you this information.

Obviously the max. payout and volatility. If it's too volatile I won't play a slots machine, then again I'm a recreational player and not out to try and make a living from gambling. It also depends what you want to accomplish when you're playing, i.e playing for entertainment purposes or playing for greed ;).

If you play progressives make sure that progressive wins are not included in the withdrawal limit. You don't want the casino to pay you out in dribs and drabs. Instead they must pay you out in one lump sum. I'm not a fan of progressives since they're extremely volatile.

  14. To be honest, I think the casino support agent made a mistake here... There is NO way for any online casino to consider your bonus active AFTER you completed successfully the wagering requirements.

Personally, I rarely make bets as high as 7.50 and above, but frankly speaking, I would be crazy mad if any casino dare to void my winnings with such a BS term!

I'll contact their representatives and request more info regarding this matter.

For the records, I won $9000 in Casino Adrenaline and they pay me in less than 10 days although their max withdrawal per month is 5000. And that's providing the fact I never told them who's Guru. :D

Wow. A hearty congratz Valdes may there be many more! :yahoo:

There's a couple of great operators that offer superb bonuses but their T&C's are just plain lousy. Across the board this seems to be the norm nowadays-please correct me if I'm wrong. As a player I've never been a fan of the deposit bonus since I don't like being tied down by the wagering requirements attached to them.

Some of the bonuses I've seen even have a max. cashout of 3,000 Euros.

  15. Hi everyone,

Firstly, I'm a bit of a 'terms geek' and never play at a casino before checking their terms and asking cs to clarify bonus terms.

I know many of you like Adrenaline casino, and because you all speak highly of them, this led me to sign up and try them out.

Now I don't want to upset anyone, and I'm definitely not saying the casino is bad or should be avoided, but whilst I was checking out the site, I discovered a term that I didn't like and thought everyone should be warned about.

The reason for this is because it is a highly unusual term, and if you aren't aware of it, even experienced players could be caught out by it and have their winnings confiscated.

The term refers to playing with any bonus.

Whilst a bonus is active you cannot bet more than 25% of the bonus amount, and no higher than $7.50 per bet placed.

This term is fine, and not unusual at all, however the key word is 'active'.

After chatting with cs, I discovered that a bonus remains active even after you have completed the wagering, and this is where players could be caught out.

A bonus only becomes inactive once all funds have been withdrawn after completing wagering attached to the bonus.

So if you are like me please be careful.

Many times if I have some nice wins and get my balance up to $1,000 or more, I often like to try my luck with a few spins at $10 or more.

If you do this at Adrenaline thinking you can because you already completed wagering, then you are wrong and will have all your winnings confiscated.

Please be aware of this, as I have never played at a casino where the bonus terms remain active even after you have completed the wagering.

This is the only issue I found, and thought it was important to let everyone know.

I have the chat transcript just to confirm but cant attach it from my mobile.

    Happy and safe spinning. ;)

Hmmm thanks for the heads up.

Never heard of such a bonus term either. Would be great if you can post the chat transcript with the operator outlining this term.

  16.

Let me share my two cents about my favorite deposit methods. Don't forget that depositing in online gambling is a little bit strange as a procedure, since you must think of a withdrawal at the same time! You know that 99% of the casinos had that point in their terms and conditions that you are obliged to withdraw, using the same method for depositing. ;) So, here's my top 3.

1st place: Skrill (former Moneybookers) - accepted by probably 90% of the online casinos worldwide, no fees, reliable and secure, accepted as withdrawal method as well!

2nd place: Visa debit/credit card - accepted by all online casinos, relatively small fees, reliable and secure, accepted as a withdrawal method in the same time. A disadvantage for me is that withdrawals to this method last longer than withdrawals to e-wallets for example.

3rd place: Neteller - very popular way for both depositing and withdrawing, extremely fast cashouts, no fees, reliable and secure. A disadvantage is its relatively high fees for a cashout to your bank account for example.

I only use Neteller and the reasons why I use it as pointed out by Valdes. Been using it for nearly 10 years. Never had a problem except for one incident where some clown got hold of my Nett card number and purchased goods in the UK. I contacted Neteller immediately and they solved it in a jiffy. Suffice it to say I never had any problems since.

  17. Looks like a solid brand with good promotions and incentives to loyal players.

Must admit the sign on bonus (100% up to 300 credits) and cashback of 10% looks very enticing. Bonus terms are not too bad either (30xB). It has a max. bet rule of 10% of your initial deposit attached to it: ''Players staking more than 10% of their real money deposit in a single bet will be flagged as high-risk players and shall be monitored. The Casino reserves the right to void any winnings derived from such abusive behaviour. Example: a player depositing €100, then immediately proceeds to wager over €20 per hand will be deemed high-risk user''.

''Bonus Trems and Conditions: Players from Poland, Kazakhstan and Russia must play through the deposit plus bonus 200 times before withdrawal.'' Ouch!

    Progressive Jackpots

''If the Jackpot winnings do not exceed €50,000.00, they will be paid through Bank Wire in one payment. Should they exceed €50,000.00, they will be paid through bank wire only in increments of €5,000.00 per month until full settlement.'' Can't say I'm impressed with this term. I spoke to Maria (affiliate manager) at Luckyballs she said that they are looking in to this.
