  1. I'm struggling to hit something too, mostly playing Creepy Christmas. It was ok last night, played it for 3 hours straight with hardly any balance movement but so far this night, it's been dreadful and just eating away. I like the slot though. Multiplier wilds, upgrades, extra spins, volatility choice, an active base game, extra bet option (sadly unavailable for the contest).. it's got a lot going for it! But it doesn't feel Christmas-y at all. More like they were delayed from releasing it in time for Halloween and then just hastily added a santa's hat and some presents here and there!

  3. Further improving my score, 129.9x now. Game is still Down the Chimney, and the 'Grand' has shown itself for a good tease! Now to actually collect it!
  4. @Icy Casino used was King Billy actually. Credit where credit's due Also, if someone from Pragmatic happens to stop by this thread: Something is very wrong with your newest slot, Gates of Olympus 1000 Xmas! Done 1750 spins, not gotten a single bonus, staked NOK 3500, returned NOK 2200
  5. I don't think these go as 'Jackpot' slots in a bonus wagering sense. It's usually the progressives they refer to. I play slots like Mustang Gold or Elvis Frog all the time with a bonus and noone's ever objected to that, since these have a fixed amount and is just a fancy word for a 1,000x or so.
  6. Not much activity here as the contest approaches its conclusion. Quite shocking actually that such nice prizes don't attract more players! I was really expecting some hardcore ZvH grinding! Or could it be that everyone's got their huge win ready and are just waiting till the final moment to post it? Anyway, I just had a magnificent couple of features on Sugar Rush 1000! I KNEW it had more to give, it just took some time! If @Fiekie247 won't mind, and the current standings does hold up, I'd like to claim 2nd place as well!
  7. Just a quick reminder as well: When you refresh or re-enter the game (DtC), the stake is set back to the default 2.0 rather than the 0.2 you were probably playing at. Beware!
  8. Improving, tiny step by tiny step. Down the Chimney, 75x
  9. Doesn't matter though, 51.4x probably won't stay on the scoreboard the full 2 weeks
  10. Slight upgrade: Down the Chimney, 50x This game is pretty hard to bonus, got it twice in 750 spins.
  11. Technically, you can play Carts on 0.2 if you opt for 20 paylines rather than 40 - but the contest appears to require playing on all paylines. But I'm sure @cocopop3011 will be able to make an exception in this case since minimum 0.4 on such seemingly brutal slots will see most of us lose interest (and our budget!) fairly quickly.
  12. Down the Chimney is actually 95.5%. Not sure if this is the top setting but would be alarming if it is. Anyway, needed to do a few more spins on it to get an even number in my wagering progress bar, and to sum up this little early encounter with Oryx Gaming: NOK 1000 staked, NOK 450 returned. If this is a sign of things to come, it may indeed be a very expensive contest to enter!
  13. So, turns out 3 out of the 4 games chosen for the Bragg contest is open to play with an active bonus (playing at Lucky Circus, Dama N.V) and I gave them a few spins to see what they're about. The first game, Down the Chimney, took 50x over 100 spins, Nothing happened, obviously, and the game had a bit of a dull feel to it. The second game, Carts of Cash, had a more engaging feel to it, you fill these carts with scatters and wait for the reaction, which can be multipliers or free spins, I believe. The filled carts are only visual though, the reaction comes at random, but you watch these carts filled to the brim with gold and expect it to happen any time. Very hard to switch off the game when the carts are full. Min bet is 0.4, and over about 150 spins, the game took more than 90x. The last one, Creepy Christmas, also has a 0.4 min bet so I didn't bother with it, not wanting to lose another chunk of balance so quickly. The games are at about 96%, btw. Guess I'll have to endure Down the Chimney throughout the contest dates because of a lower min bet (0.2). Hopefully, it'll grow on me
  14. Was looking for a sports equivalent thread to this one but couldn't find any. Maybe add one @cocopop3011 ? Curious if you guys delve into sports betting as well as playing the slots? Myself, I just had a wonderful day of betting, winning all 3! A rare occurance for sure! Playing at Kryptosino, who's got a great selection of bets and reliable withdrawals (usually by noon the following day for credit cards). Very low limits on obscure leagues though, like Shillong Premier, Hong Kong, UAE, or whatever, but generally very good!
  15. Are these Bragg games typically available for bonus wagering? @Fiekie247 ? Not very familiar with the portfolio myself but I remember the game chosen for the previous contest - Golden Gals - was not. The little I've played Oryx/whatever was quite rough on the balance as I recall.
  16. Found at least two of them at Lucky Circus, count me in! Games are listed under provider Oryx.
  17. Trying to improve on my score has proven just as hard as expected but I'm having some good fun along the way, mainly playing these '1000'-games with their, for Pragmatic Play, massive win potential. Obviously, these x1000 multipliers are few and far between, and except for on Sugar Rush, I am yet to even see them but just knowing they are there is a real exciting thought and you kind of always get your hopes up when you have a good tumble and you see the game character is starting to do stuff! One day! Thought I'd share some impressions and a few screenies of some of the better hits I've had so far: Wisdom of Athena 1000 - Fairly exciting game although she is real stingy on things like retriggers and multipliers. Can take quite some time to bonus it, but you can also get like 5 bonuses in 250 spins. The multiplier can come into play in the base game as well, which is always nice. Sweet Bonanza 1000 - I played it exstensively in a PP contest earlier in the year and found it to be horrible! I revisited it now only to find that absolutely nothing had changed! First of all it took 1250+ spins to bonus. Secondly, the base game is dire, with no chance whatsoever of hitting even a 'Superb!'. Once the bonus finally came in, it gave 4 in a fairly short time, yet I struggled to even get a 100x win! Starlight Princess 1000 - This one I really like! It bonuses at a fairly steady rate, the chances of retriggers appear quite high, and very few of the bonuses are totally dead: 150-200x is easily reachable, even in the base game where the multipliers may also appear. I think this'll be the one I really start grinding! I've seen the x250 a few times in the base game already and a couple of them even connected to a win! Shame though, that - like clockwork - the last few free spins never seem to hit anything! Dog House Muttley Crew - It was nice to play an exciting DH release again, after the disastrous Dog or Alive. A higher than usual max win at 7,500x but would need to be even higher for it to get into the top spot here in this contest! It bonuses a good bit and isn't too stingy on the sticky multiplier wilds, even if they are mostly just x2. Found my balance to be nicely maintained while playing it.
  18. Argh! It seems I just can't do it! Time is quickly running out now and despite all these set-ups, there is just no finishing touch! Here's one from just now, and most likely the last chance I had! So, so close, just 1 hit in that x512 cell in 5 spins, just 1 hit!
  19. @Icy ! Can you hear that cracking sound? It's the ice breaking under you! Your petty turtle will be of no defense, I have buffalos. Lots! The herd is coming! Buffalo Hunter, 859x - and I had 2 free spins left! So close now!
  20. As pointed out many times now, by myself, @Fiekie247, and others, we really need a rule that demands the casino game log to be posted along with any winning screenshot entries for games where bonus buy is available. Take Pragmatic - in their replay/last wins log, there is no way to tell if a win is through bonus buy or not, the bet will always be displayed by base stake. Yes, you can get live chat verification or even provider verification later, but first of all, as we have seen before, this can only delay settlement of the contests, and secondly, who's to say the live chat rep or even the PP rep reads the bet correctly? Of course, we are all here honest folk who appreciate good sportsmanship, so we have no reasons to suspect that anyone would actually cheat - but the casino game log is the only solid proof a win is in accordance with the rules and by demanding it, even the possibilty of cheating would be ruled out.
  21. As much as I am involved in the current PP contest, I'm already eagerly anticipating the next one! I really hope it will have a theme we'll need to stick to, like with Halloween. PP's got loads of Christmas slots, so we can easily be restricted to playing those only, while still having quite a few options to choose from. I mean, Big Bass alone got like 4 different xmas slots. Santa's Great Gifts is another good one. And there's A Christmas Carol Megaways, Santa, Sugar Rush xmas, Sweet Bonanza xmas, you name it. And the best thing: there will be no Zeus vs Hades balance burner!
  22. If your aim is to just sneak into the leaderboard, I would suggest giving Mustang Trail a go. It's available at 0.1 min bet, it's not brutal by nature, and it's one of the "easiest" slots I've seen to get a 300x on. Fairytale Fortune would be another, available at 0.15. It's quite balance friendly as it bonuses fairly often, and if you can get 'Progressive Free Spins' or 'Super Wilds Free Spins' out of the 4 different bonus games you spin for, you'll easily be looking at a 250-400x
  23. Howcome, if I may ask? Geographical, bonus banned, or other reasons? Myself, I'm generally very happy with casinos from this group
  24. Yeah, it's LuckyCircus, I didn't check if it was clearly visible since the screenie has no value for contest purposes anyway. Except to scare @Icy with Speaking of LC, it's a good, new Dama outfit, well suited for low rollers., Attractive bonuses, Pragmatic at 96%, and speedily payouts
