I played with my winnings, will i get it back?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, thanks to anyone who is taking the time to read this and give me a heads up as to be honest i don't know what to think right now i'm clueless lol

My question regards the RTP on slot machines

So long story short, i played online at a casino, deposited some money, i won around 0.35 btc, but due to the fact that maybe i got into the "gambling spirit" or whatever.. i played it all on max bet.

I ned to mention that before this win i only deposited around 0.15 btc, so to my surprise i managed to win something :)

Anyway, i gambled my winnings playing on max bet, small bet and whatever.. but nothing, all money gone.

After that i been depositing and playing small amounts (maybe 0.01 at a time and what not ) on small /max bet.. but nothing, it gives me some small "wins" (not even a fraction of that) and then eats it all again!

My question is, since so far (after the big win) i played around 0.25 btc altogether.. will i make it back following the "RTP rule" or is money lost forever or perhaps will i get it all back the money played plus the previous winning?

Thanks for your time and appreciate any help you could give me.

Welcome to the forum Italian boy.  :hi:  :D

A slot game is just like a football...it can go in any direction and in any trajectory...in a straight line, elusive line, swerving line...just name it, a slot game can do it! Hahaha.

Regardless of what has happened before, no one can really predict if a game is going to pay next or not. It may carry on eating and eating...as the game Bonanza would...or pay literally peanuts...like the game Jumanji and many others would...or pay a huge win...like Dead Or Alive would...but only at the right time of course.

Becoming 'familiar' with one game may help you to get a better 'feeling' of the game, but only after doing 50,000 or more spins on that one game alone, and playing it regularly too...then the game may become slightly 'predictable'. I say slightly, because no game can ever be totally predictable!  :p

So, in your case, yes...there will come a time when that game would pay you a nice big win...but god knows when...or after how many more losses!  :p

Hey thanks! nice to find some helping people here :p

I understand your concept and i appreciate that.. the only thing that bugs me is wondering if it will pay at some point seeing as slot machines have the return to player feature.. i keep n playing 3 -4 times a day on max bet but it's just not going anywhere.. i mean i'd be ready to settle just by getting my money back lol

Will this happen, i mean the fact that ill get my money back? (or well a 95% of it as it states)?

Thanks for your help :)

Oh another thing  i wanted to ask

Since i am playing online.. does it matter where i play? i mean say if i played around 0.30 on a slot, if i change it and play with another can i still get my rtp money ? or do i have to play on the same one?

I know i bother with all my questions but i'm new just trying to get my head round it lol

Yup, I think RTP is based on a single game session but then again, there's a thing called RNG. Till this day I still think those two things contradict/counter because how can RTP work if the RNG randomly pick the spin number for you? Unless the RNG only applied in the game session/ RTP 'zone'. Better not to think about it and just press that spin button and relax.

In most cases when my balance almost reaches zero while playing a game I simply open a second tab, make another deposit on that tab, return to the first tab and keep playing hoping for the game to give me the RTP hehehe. Closing the game means losing your game session and therefore also you lost the RTP but that's what I think.

Oh right

Well what happened to me is;

Paid me €2300 (equivalent in btc) played that ran balance to 0.

i been playing small amounts again  (€50 now €80 tomorrow) so to speak.. and after a while it paid me (€750) but i played that also :( hahaha so i think it also applies if the game gets closed and re-opened

By doing so i been playing around €4000 altogether... just wondering if the rtp will hit any time soon as i'm low on funds lol

Many questions that need many answers...but no matter.  :p

There is no doubt that one day, a big win would come playing on max bet...but seeing how games are paying nowadays, that would seem like a very faraway event! Big wins tend to come slightly more easily with smaller bets...that's because the RTP and the RNG are working together in tandem all the time! They NEVER work independently! A big win on max bet would have a bigger effect on the game's overall RTP (not player's RTP), so this sort of huge win can only occur under the most favourable conditions!

Whether you play at one casino or at various casinos, it doesn't really make much difference, because the game is played from the game provider's server, not the casino's server. What matters most is what the overall RTP is at the provider's server when you play that game, which no player can know of course, hence the surprise big wins when least expected! Hehehe.

Whether you can get your money back or not, that's a matter of your 'luck'. Some do get it back, but most don't! Some may even make a win in the end, but that's their damn good luck, if anything else!  :p

Finally...never take that 95%, or 97%, or whatever % RTP as a gospel truth! It is only a theoretical figure, based on millions of spins done, and under testing circumstances. In real playing situations, the circumstances are never the same, so that RTP figure may go either way - up or down. Yes, if you played the game over 1 million spins or more, you may finally end up very close to that stated RTP...but would you do it just to see if you can finally get that RTP percentage?  :p

Hahaha, 1 huge jackpot is all I need, 100K is a nice start to win the bigger jackpot.

Aaaah...jackpots...those damn blardy jackpots...how to win them when I'm now restricted from playing any of them?  :p

Can't even afford to play with $2 bets on my soup game...so big wins ala jackpots are not even in my dreams!

I would suggest you to choose when it’s better to chase big jackpots and when it’s wiser to manage small winnings. Sometimes it's more important to walk away when you won some amount of money until you lost it all. Sure thing, to get the money, you’ll need to win the sum, which will be at least equal to minimum withdrawal amount. Another strategy is to leave the game after you won, enter another one and do the same.
