This is not the first casino who add this odd rule to their terms. There are a few others.

Have you seen something like this?

Stupid term!! Basically it's giving them the opportunity to refuse winnings as the term itself is so vague imo.

Wins twice the value of the bonus amount? That isn't really that hard to do. Let's the bonus is £20 so if you win £40? And are they counting all slots as weighing the same? And is that winning twice the bonus amount in one spin or if you go over twice the bonus amount?

Too vague for my liking. If you add a term like that it should certainly be explained more.

Well, if you ask me, I wouldn't even bother playing if I see these kinda terms. It needs some more explaination indeed but then again, I wouldn't take the risk of losing my money. I really liked this casino but I changed my mind after reading this term. Greed is never good, neither for us players or the casino.

This is really a ridiculous term and very easy to breach because of that. Their bonus terms and wagering in general is very unfriendly for players.

Exactly and I'd be worried that it's one of those terms they can actually impose whenever they like and we as players wouldn't really have a leg to stand on.

It's also the vagueness of some of these terms. What does irregular betting patterns actually mean? My betting may look irregular mainly because if my balance is low i may bet big because i'm getting fed up. Casinos have enough of an edge, enough bust wagering attempts to more than compensate for those who meet it.

Players bear the risk of losing their 100 quid deposit, without any recourse so if a casino offers a bonus - to attract more customer, then they should bear the brunt of any winners' payouts.

I refuse to take bonus's that lock my real money in with bonus monies - if i win with MY real money then i should be able to take it when i want. If i go into the bonus funds, well happy to wager x35 as it's money i've not deposited.

So? I'm a regular player at Lapalingo and never had any problems. Basically if you play slots keep playing slots and you won't have any problems. Same terms in all online casinos, irregular betting patterns.

The thing is, some players sometimes want to switch from slots to table games and vice versa, they call it variation. Instead adding these kinda terms they should divided the deposit bonuses in two like some casinos. A bonus for slots only and a bonus for table games only or a bonus lock feature might help a lot. Casinos should make players feel confortable playing at their casino, not frustrated. Nobody likes to play on a field of landmines.

Yes I do agree, I don't think I'd ever have an issue because I only play slots but I'd always be worried they could still throw that term in my face!

Or....not apply the bonus to table games. Make it real cash only if that's what they want.

But yet again, it's allowed and then only at withdrawal does the old 'you breached' come into play.

Fear not though, the regulators are currently addressing the use of the word 'free' spins.

Are you refering to 'free spins' upon desposit? If yes, then I'm glad they're finally doing something about it.

The same terms can be found in most online casinos about irregular play. That's the way it is. If you wanna be safe play with pure deposits. I rarely play with bonus nowadays, mostly because it's impossible to wager a bonus on Amatic slots :D

To be honest I think, rather than debate the semantics of free v extra, they'd be better cracking on with dealing with the continuing self exclusion issues/rogue affiliates who truly are breaching advertising standards (see Casumo's recent brush with the ASA). I personally couldn't care if it says ' 30 Free or Extra spins upon deposit of 20 pounds' because i know that i need to deposit the 30 to get the spins etc. BGO are calling theirs fair spins. The worlds gone mad  B)

I'll make an exception to the totally awful Casino Luck's marketing department - they do send out misleading flyers etc, but apart from that you'd have to be pretty thick not to understand what it means.
