My mastermind cat read my mind and jumped into a chat session

Ok, so I'll write my first post aware that people will probably question my sanity.

Long story short, I've had a five day long hassle with getting my documents approved by a casino, which name I will leave out for the moment at least.
I sent the documents, it was confirmed they were received and then began the daily reminders by e-mail and pop-ups "You have not sent in your documents"

Chat support reassured me they had infact been received, but "the system" had a different opinion.

This went on for five days and finally I received an e-mail from security department that since my documents had not been sent, the funds were refunded to my account.

Went back to live chat, and in a civilized and respectful, yet slightly annoyed manner, explained the events of the last days. Then silence, no reply for a couple of minutes and I left the puter for about ten seconds to get something fixed.

During those seconds my cat, in his usual manner, began to walk the keyboard. Capslock- volume off - open folders and such happens several times a day.

This time he wrote his own little message to chat support and even managed to send it.

When I returned the latest reply to the CS was  "ppoooooooohhhhh".

Cats have an exceptional ability to pick up on your emotions - now I know mine can also express them on my behalf.

Had to write an apology obviously, but who would actually believe me. "I'm so sorry but it was actually my cat writing and sending that"

Guess I'll have him to teach him some keyboard manners.

Well Ally, first of all, welcome to Askgamblers forum.  :hi:

I must say, I like what you wrote about your cat. I'm a cat lover too. Nope, I don't think you mad or insane...because I do know that some things in life can actually happen but simply cannot be explained. And I do know too that a very close pet animal can feel and share your emotions, especially cats and dogs.

But honestly speaking, this is the first time that I have ever come across a cat 'typing' 'ppooooooohhhh' and sending it via chat!

Very strange...but I don't really doubt it!  ;)

This reminds me of my beloved little black male cat, which I had to feed and take care of when his mother died about a week after birth. His younger brother didn't survive the ordeal, so I was left with this poor little cat who was all alone and with no one to feed it. He was just like me...all alone in the house! Hehehe.

After several months, it became so close to me, like I'm his mother, and no other person can even go near him...he would simply run away and hide whenever I have guests in my house! Hahaha.

Whenever I'm on my laptop, he would jump over to me and start looking at the screen, staring and scratching at it, trying to feel what's on the screen. Walking all over the keyboard was nothing unusual for him. At times, he would even go behind the screen, then pops up from behind it! Hahaha.

A few months later, he started to venture out of the house, which he never dared to do before. Being a male cat, I cannot stop him. I know his needs and things he need to do outside. Until one day, he never came back, and I never saw him again. And that broke my heart completely!  :sorry:

Haha! As much as I hate cats, I guess yours could be a rare exception for me personally. After all, how many cats capable to put a casino live chat into a 'puffin situation 'do we know here... :D

Welcome to AskGamblers, Ally. :)
