Receiving funds from casino in check

After waiting 4 months for my withdrawal from Raging Bull Casino I just received a international paper check from Canada. My ATM won't accept it and mobile deposit won't take it either. Im somewhat of a nervous person by nature and I'm afraid the check might be fake so I don't really want to take it into the teller to deposit it. Has anyone ever deposited a check from Raging Bull casino? If so, what was your experience?

I've never withdrew from a casino with a cheque and especially from this particular casino. Is your bank the only place where you can cash the cheque then?

Im in the same situation as you, i got a check from canada as well, how did it work out for you?

Update: I called the bank it was drawn from and they verified the funds. So I deposited it in my bank 12 days ago. My bank makes funds available right away so I don't know if it actually cleared or not yet. But so far so good

you couldn't ask them for a bank transfer? i never ever withdraw a check.

It was my only option for withdrawal, if they did transfers then the minimum withdrawal was more than i had in my account, i cant remember for sure i just know i only had the check option.
