Umm. On the manufacturer's official website it doesn't appear this model limit, it just says for iPhone and iPod touch, but yes, it is better to be careful with that.

That's defo an iPhone 4 in the picture all recent iPhones also don't use that attachment. However, would have been a pretty cool gadget back in the day of iPhone 4's.
