Bee2121
Hi all, I have been gambling for two years now, but still feel a novice in terms of strategy. I know it all comes down to luck of the draw. I like to play a couple of micro gaming games and also some NetEnt. They are usually my favourites. What I am wondering is when you leave a game after a significant win (which I normally do) when you then come back to that game will it carry on with the sequence as you left it, or does it reset at all? Is there a time limit if it does reset the sequence? Sometimes I have had a big win, and then have gone back and won even more. As we all know after a while the game goes kinda dead, and you could have loss after loss. I know there is no way to work out how a slot will completely play out, even though I have gotten used to how my preferred games work to a degree. I'm just curious as to how all of you like to play your slots, and when do you normally know when to walk or make your withdrawals. Great forum by the way, with very nice and helpful people. cocopop3011, Raptordinos and MacdoniS

Hi Bee2121 and welcome to AskGamblers. That's a hard question because maybe the decision to go to cash out depends a lot on how are you feeling at some specific point when you're playing; maybe you feel so lucky or maybe you get nervous. I usually set my goals to prevent myself from getting greedy, for example, I go to withdraw when I just met my wagering requirements, or when I reach some amount in winnings, and sometimes I adjust my goals on the way depending on my time available or things like that. These ideas don't work for everybody, but I still think it is usefull to set your real purposes before you make your deposit into your casino account. Good luck mate, and welcome again. I've been playing for many years now and still don't know so don't worry Afi4wins and MacdoniS
MacdoniS
Hi all, I have been gambling for two years now, but still feel a novice in terms of strategy. Actually, if you're wondering if the slot has its own magic button. I will sadly say that they don't have. I know for sure your 2 years of experience can tell you that the slot sometimes don't have its consistent result in the same manner that the slot favors the house compare to the players and that's how the slot truly works, for how a casino will earn if they don't get any commission from the slot and instead paying a huge cash out winnings one word "bankruptcy". The good news is that playing slot has its own advantage to whom it plays the slot. First, you will have the independence to stop and play! So, meaning you can limit your winnings and losses depending to your set quota or tactics. Chances are you learned that deposit bonus may greatly help you to bring a higher odds of winning. I know that slots are superb and exciting to play but again there's no secret button but you can have your secret formula like setting the limitations, deposit bonuses, scheduled playing, slot game feature, slot information and etc.. all of these are important and must be integrated. I don't laugh if you thought of accurate tactics to win from slot because there are some wannabe players that says they can 100% win from slot using this software using this, that, those.. but actually none of them really works and will resulting a permanent ban from a casino so never try any of these scamming techniques. There are players who also said that playing from this day like sunday, friday and saturday can lead to higher chances of winning but actually if you try it this is not REALLY work and the results are still the same meaning bogus claim. Just a friendly advice mate. If you want to play slot, just play it with your heart and anything you do, do it with your heart. Enjoy the moments of it, if you want to win, be disciplined. Don't hesitate to ask, for a wise man always ask and those who doesn't want to ask are afraid of learning. Learn from others so you will have the chance to change your conventional thinking and lead to a better tactics and discipline. cocopop3011
Afi4wins
I won't go into great details, so I'll just be brief. On downloaded versions, your play is recorded and kept in your data info file, and this is referred to each time you load up the game again the next time. All your game preferences and the last settings are reused, so in a way, you are continuing your play from where you had left off the last time. This is especially true for Playtech games. I cannot play RTG, Rival, Top Game/Pragmatic, and the other downloadable software anymore, so I cannot be sure of those. For Microgaming, there is a provision for you to 'restore' your last game and settings, if you wish, or simply start anew. Restoring your previous game would take you back to where you had left off, so continuing back on the game. Nonetheless, whether you 'continue' on or start 'fresh', how the game would play and pay is directly linked to the casino's main server. However, I do believe than even so, the game would 'continue' on from where you had left off. Meaning, if you had a big win on your last play, you can expect the game to be cold for some period of time. If playing directly online in Instant Play mode, I dare not say the same thing, because my preference and experience has always been for the downloaded version. I've tried playing the same favourite Playtech games in the instant play mode and I must say that I do not like it at all! Nope, they just don't play the same way! Bee2121
Thank you for all the very helpful advice! It's much appreciated. I know there is no way to 'cheat' with slots and I definitely wouldn't even want to explore that avenue, as I know form experience I can have some very good wins just by playing as I always do. In terms of sequencing afi4wins thanks for explaining it perfectly. Thank you all again great forum Afi4wins
