raverbabe
Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link here but google for PokerScout and you'll find the site no problem. It's mainly just a review site for on-line poker but almost every review on the whole site about every poker room is just a complaint that the room is rigged. Seems completely ridiculous to me, there's even less reason to rig a poker room than a casino considering they make their money from the rake regardless of who wins each hand... but then people will say that the cards are dealt deliberately to cause action - giving everybody a piece of the flop so that everyone will bet and the site makes the maximum possible rake. I've been playing on-line poker for many years and had some horrible bad beats. I've also won a great deal of money some months too mainly from cash games but also Double Or Nothing's and winning the odd MTT. I have no doubt that PokerStars and iPoker are fair, so how can this site be 95% negative reviews?

Sorry dear I have no idea about poker, there's no point in me looking at the site because it probably wouldn't make much sense to me Hopefully you'll get some replies though. However I do have a question for you. What did you start playing first? Slots or Poker?
raverbabe
I went to the casino on my 21st birthday, spent most of the night playing blackjack and roulette because those were the only games I really understood but I jumped on the machines at the end of the night and ended up rescuing my night from £200 down to £2000 up ... it was a great night but I saw how dangerous it could be right away as I wasn't earning a lot of money at the time. Then I started playing poker in the halls of residence, regularly boosting my wages by taking the boys from them And I suppose that money financed my move to on-line gaming! I haven't really stopped since I hit my first five scatters on Dead or Alive - the friends I was with were taking the mickey as I was playing at just 0.09 per spin and thought I must be joking when I said I'd won £225! There's not really any live poker games to play anymore except in the casino but the most popular one around here for poker I have an ex boyfriend who deals there so I kind of avoid the poker tables just incase of awkwardness As for PokerScout... imagine every review here at AG was saying this casino is rigged, slots are blatantly cheating, every blackjack shoe is a cold deck, honestly it's ridiculous if you had a look at just the first one or two pages of reviews it mixes all sites together and people just say every one of them is crooked despite the site claiming they hide posts claiming the rooms are rigged by default. I just totally don't get it! I guess all these sour players on tilt explains why even today with like 1/4 of the traffic I used to see back in 2013 it's still possible to make money sometimes. cocopop3011

However I don't give negative reviews as a result of my misfortune I complain about the players not the software! if fish1 goes all in with absolutely anything ***** about them online not the poker client which is definitely run properly without any rigging etc! People do the exact same with slots, tables games etc that they lose on it's always the machines fault...the machine didn't tell you to bet £5 a hand/spin/bet...they need to take some responsibility. I guess the people who have sensible opinions don't feel as much of a need to go on-line and shout about it which is how come the negative views end up being so much more prevalent. It's just unbelievably extreme at PokerScout, it seems as if EVERYBODY is saying the sites are rigged and that seems all the more bizarre to me because unlike with casino games the poker rooms have little to gain from making some individual player lose., One viewpoint I do find interesting is those who talk about "Action Flops", and the theory that poker rooms try to give as many players as possible a piece of the flop. That might hold up when discussing cash games, I guess they might have an incentive to try and generate more rake... but there's no reason for them to do that in MTTs.
