perceptive541 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hello everyone I need some help. I recently reached out to Bovada Customer Service and made a joke in poor taste that resulted in them disabling my account. When speaking to the customer service rep, he was just copy and pasting the same response so I jokingly said, "Ok I guess I will just jump off a bridge then." I closed the live chat and thought nothing of the comment. I go to log in later that day and my account is now disabled. I reach out to customer service live chat and they are clueless and not even remotely helpful. One of them said my account was disabled "Due to end of business". Another one said my account had been closed for some time now (it hadn't even been 2 hours lol). With the live chat not being useful I wrote an email to the Bovada support. They tell me to reach out to the live chat lol.... so I do. They say I can't request my account to be unlocked until 72 hours after it's been locked. Which seems iffy and not true but what can I do. Has anyone had their account disabled and been through something similar? Any insight or tips would be helpful. I still have a lot of money on that disabled Bovada account.. Can they just do this? Afi4wins Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago @perceptive541 Hi there and welcome to the forum. It seems to me that your account may be temporarily disabled - to make you learn a lesson to be polite all the time to any casino's host! Yes, this sort of thing has happened before, albeit very rarely I must say, but the casino has the right to take disciplinary action against a player if needed to. Wait for the 'cooling off' time to pass and try to log in again later, but I really wouldn't know how much later though - could be 1 week, could be 1 month, could be less even. Quote
Maiwen Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago How did you find out that your account was closed because of that joke in poor taste? Since live support didn't confirm it, I suggest waiting the 72-hour period, if your account remains blocked after that, contact the casino support team via email, as live chat doesn't always provide the reasons for an account block.
