I want to spark a debate that I think every cricket bettor in South Asia has an opinion on —
Is IPL or BPL the better tournament for betting in 2026?
Here's my take:
IPL (Indian Premier League)
Massive betting market with huge liquidity
Best players in the world = more predictable form
Tons of betting markets available (top scorer, man of match, etc.)
More data and statistics available
Odds can be lower due to high competition among bettors
Harder to find value bets
BPL (Bangladesh Premier League)
Better odds and more value for smart bettors
Easier to research teams and players
Growing popularity means more markets opening up
Great for local Bangladesh bettors who know the teams
Less liquidity in betting markets
Fewer platforms covering it deeply
My Personal Opinion:
I actually prefer betting on BPL because as a Bangladesh-based bettor I have better knowledge of the teams and players. Knowledge is power when it comes to betting!
I use Rajabaji for most of my cricket betting as they cover both tournaments well and offer great odds for Bangladesh players.
