I am sorry ,but i really hate when someone will throw some statement as yours and vanish    i dont believe in that and many players would do the same,anyways i do enjoy playing on line and wouldn't do that,that way you will be banned from all casinos out there

I'm just confused here! on one hand the OP said it's possible to fine casinos if they don't follow the rules themselves - I believe casinos have to adhere to their regulator's rules and enforce responsible gambling - on the other hand, experienced members like Sharon and you (who are doing great stuff here) reacted negatively, mildly put.

I do not see anything bad of what the OP said. Rules should not be only for the players but should be followed by the casinos too.If a casino does not follow them correctly especially when it comes to responsible gambling policy's why not ask them your money back?

There is many sites on here not operating with uk gambling licences ie casinos with licences issued in Curaçao ! But despite the regulations and law imposed on 20th November 2014 that any site accepting uk players must hold correct licence still many are accepting uk accounts and deposits , !!! Apparently it's in they're terms and conditions we as players must check they hold the right licences for our country's !!!! What a load of rubbish they are breaking the uk gambling law !! We may join them on a trust they adhere to current uk laws they should be refunding us and not taking advantage what happens wen we want to withdraw and they say sory but u should if checked first we accept uk players and keep our deposits ??!!!!!

I didn't necessarily react negatively I asked the member to elaborate on his experience. it's easy to say you can get your money back and accuse casinos of no adhering to licensing rules - but I like to know more, facts so to speak    More often or not, and I'm not saying the member who created the thread is one of these, but, more often or not players who create these kinds of threads are ones that have lost money and simply don't like the fact they have lost

So, you're a fellow player from the UK like myself? Indeed since the new law we saw many, many casinos pull out of the UK but as time has progressed some of these casinos have managed to obtain a UK license. Not all of course. When I try a new casino I always, always ask if they accept UK players, this is now one of my first questions for support. Luckily for me I haven't had a bad experience where I've been able to sign up, deposit and play to later find out they don't have a UK license.

 

Would you care to tell us which casinos in particular that we have that are not adhering to the UK licensing laws? We can check it out.

Lol they do not not block or restrict us as we agree they're terms and conditions and as we join from uk we actually violate there policy's and not them breaking the law ! Yes spoke on the phone to them they were gratefull and will use the info I provided for they're own intellegance but regarding my experiences there's not a lot they will do ! Looks like the casinos can and will get away with it , so what if they get a fine millions of money is still being deposited but it's our fault for nit checking them out first they hold no responsibility if we deposit as we are supposed to check them out first , they found a banking prosess which allows uk deposits

I didn't ask about it just like that... If there is someone who could actually take some legal measures against operators breaching systematically UK gambling legislation then it must be the Gambling Commission and the UK Court. Everything else, including our discussion here is simply useless...

Basically it's tuff luck to consumers ! I had accounts at 3 sites operating without uk licences they were owned operated by condor gaming , be I joined them before the law came into force and continued to use them up until a month ago , I was advised by ask gamblers they were operating without uk licence , this rang alarm bells and I contacted them and they were fully aware of this law , but they did not close my accounts or suspend them , I was not aware if the uk law but they were and they continued letting me play with not a care in the world to the law , I contacted them several times I believed I was due a reimbursement of sum kind as they made an error allowing me to play but infact suggested that I report them to uk gambling commission !!!!!! What happens if I hit the jackpot ??? They got me over a barrel !? I can see there response would be along the lines of dear sur we cannot pay out your winnings as u are uk player which would be breaking gambling laws !!! But they can accept uk deposits and players. It's totally wrong it's not our job as players to check every legal term and condition is above board ! I paint cars iam not a soliciter lawyer and joined as they were recommended through ask gamblers. ! Ask gamblers advised me also they are not responsible if a casino they recommend isn't legal , ask gamblers must bear sum duty of care to do relevant checks and have correct info and licences before they promote and advertise these casinos , there is nothing we can do as players to fight back if the casino isn't operating correctly !!!! Ask gamblers will also continue to promote all these sites and I hope everybody is aware they do this fir real money and for every transaction we make through joining casinos through ask gamblers for the life time we hold the casino account they get at least 10-20% of every £1 €1 or $1 we lose

Yes bitstarz is a really good example!!!! On ask gamblers site it said they accept uk players !! I managed to join ther ok and deposit and play no problem , after closing the account as games were ltd I contacted them and asked donu accept uk players , chat man was not sure , I could see no uk gambling commission link on they're site , he got back to me and response was not as if yet but hopefully in the future

I've complained to ask gamblers for advertising bitstarz accepts uk players when they should not , they were helpful but admitted they only go by what the casino tells them !! They said they would remove this from the advert , surely they got to ensure the advertised casinos are decent law abiding for they're members ?!! Nope it's all about the £££££££££

I certainly don't think you are in the position to say what you have just said! We only want to players to sign up to casinos where they are allowed to play we certainly wouldn't "promote" as you say and get players to sign up to a casino that we willingly know they shouldn't be playing at!
