How do I cash Canadian check?

  I am a Californian trying to find out how to cash Canadian check from casino...100 dollars... My bank..B of A says it needs to be 200 or more!

 

Please can anyone offer some help?

I've edited your title and your post slightly, I hope you don't mind.

 

So let me get this right, the problem isn't with cashing the check it's the fact the bank has a minimum check requirement of 200?
