Player101 Posted Wednesday at 10:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:24 AM Do you think betting with friends is just fun, or can it cause problems between them? I personally Think it's risky... I try to avoid this kind of betting. Not because I don’t want crazy moments with my friends, but because I don’t see the point when there are online betting platforms. Quote
Afi4wins Posted Wednesday at 11:25 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:25 AM Why would anyone want to bet with a friend for? Maybe only if because that friend challenges you. Quote
Maiwen Posted Wednesday at 10:17 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:17 PM I think betting with friends isn't a good idea because it can lead to arguments and hostility. Playing at online casinos and building good relationships with your friends is the right thing to do. Quote
lucks_maximus Posted Wednesday at 10:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:36 PM The only wager I might make w/ a friend is who pays for a meal (if we're going out to eat). But I don't find betting w/ friends appealing. I often pay for my friend's meals anyways because I have been pretty lucky with gambling; it's easy to spend the casino's money . Quote
formerPokerpro Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago i play poker with friends a 2-3 times a year. we start out with 30€ but it with just 5-6 people after just an hour the inital buy ins have quadrupled, leading to a mid 4 figure sum in the end. i win most of the time but we dont collect the buy ins immediatley. they are seen as long term debt and can be paid whenever the debitor wants to. with said friends it not uncommon to bet on random stuff for 50 -100 eur all the time. its fun and noone ever gets angry, but ofc you need the right ppl for this to be possible Quote
