Castle Builder slot game - achievements or any serious win possibility?

Yesterday I tried Castle Builder, new game so many casinos are talking about, also connecting their promotions to this slot game.

I tried it in free play the moment I've heard about it, but yesterday I tried it for real, in Mr Green Casino (awesome casino btw, such a pleasant service and environment).

 

Sooooo, am I the only one who wonders if this game is popular only because of entertainment, achievements and your progress during it or it can give you some nice wins, beside it?

 

I was constantly winnings something, but it was 0,2.. 0,12, 0.5, etc... anyway mostly less than my bet.

The game was a slow thief in my session  

 

How is your experience and opinion with this game?

This game is an old one actually. And it's stupid, very stupid, in my humble opinion. I know that's not the usual and detailed analyses you have been used to read by your guru, but frankly speaking, I don't think this game deserves wasting time in writing serious posts.

I've posted a few screenshots from this game. It's okay I'm no longer playing it it's weird! I had a few good wins on it when I first started playing it, at Guts Casino I think it was but haven't really played it since.

You are actually right. It IS weird is some strange way. But it has that addictive trait, because it makes you keep playing and collecting woods, so you can finish your castle and move forward in the game and on the map.

hahahah! we are soooo alike!! Those stupid little things are what makes me addicted to slots - you loose loads of money try to achieve them but just cant help it !

That's why this game reminds me of strategy games, where you build your village, make your army, material production and then you collect and use it, going up through levels and achievements.

 

I think that's the main idea here. Merging slot game with strategy game..but their mistake is that they are pushing achievement in front of the winnings, which is not the best and happy idea for gamblers

So, because of that, with lack of significant wins, you get bored even with your progress and achievements...

Yes, you are right, the main casino idea here was to combine a classic strategy game with the typical video slots, but in my humble idea the final result was a terribly boring game with poor paytable and of course that explains why it is preferred by many casino for their promos. After all, they could afford throwing as many free spins on this game as they wish with a minimal risk for any player hit big. The same applies for Starburst and NetEnt casinos though...
