Anyone notice random difficulty spikes in word puzzles during breaks?

When I take short breaks, I usually mess around with simple word-puzzle apps just to clear my head. But lately I’ve been noticing that the difficulty jumps all over the place. One round is super manageable, and the next feels like it came out of nowhere with completely different complexity.

In a recent convo, someone mentioned the way daily spelling rounds sometimes behave, and it made me realize this isn’t just me — these jumps can be pretty unpredictable across different puzzle apps.

Has anyone else experienced these kinds of random spikes when using small brain-break games between sessions? I'm trying to figure out whether it’s just normal randomness or if some apps don’t balance their puzzles well.
