Player101 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 When you start playing slots, it’s easy to be impressed by free spin offers, especially if you have a limited budget. But how do casinos afford to give them? In fact, 10 spins worth $0.10 each cost about $1, and with a 96% RTP, players win around $0.96 on average. So, as I explained previously in an older post, FS are more of a marketing investment than a loss... casinos usually balance such offers by adding wagering requirements and sometimes getting discounts from game providers. There’s no charity behind the story. Do you usually take free spins or skip them? Why? Quote
Afi4wins Posted October 21 Posted October 21 I always look for a good deposit bonus PLUS a good offering of free spins. Why? Very simple. The free spins winning become a second chance for me to carry on playing whenever my deposit and bonus balance has been exhausted. At some casinos, the free spins need to be played first before using the deposit and bonus money, so the free spins winning become an added extra bonus to the starting balance. However, in any case, a player needs to be SMART enough on how to handle each wagering requirement. If possible, tackle one wagering at a time. Combining all of them is not a wise move, but sometimes it is inevitable due to each casino's bonus terms. They are always NOT THE SAME! Cupo-Miyagi 1 Quote

LuckyDuckling Posted October 24 Posted October 24 i usually take them if the wagering terms look fair. free spins can be a nice little boost, but only when the playthrough isn’t too crazy. if the requirements are high or the winnings are capped, i just skip them and play normally. Quote

That's what I call 'smart playing'. If the winnings are too small, just cancel the bonus, don't bother with the wagering. Quote
