AaronHorvat Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Hello everyone, I wanted to start a discussion and hear some honest stories from fellow gamblers. Looking back, what is the one mistake you wish you could go back and avoid when it comes to gambling? It could be a bad decision at the table, chasing losses when you knew you should not, mismanaging your bankroll, or even just ignoring your gut feeling. We have all had those “I wish I had done that differently” moments, and sharing them might help others avoid the same pitfalls. I will share mine once a few of you do. I am curious to hear your experiences and what you learned from them. Quote
Afi4wins Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I've made tons of mistakes in my 25 years of playing slots! There isn't one that stands out from the lots of mistakes I've done, but I do wished I could go back and redo each one of them! AaronHorvat and OliverCooper 1 1 Quote
MilaRoy Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I wish I could go back and never chase losses past the point where it stops being fun. Quote
LuckyDuckling Posted September 30 Posted September 30 For me it would be chasing losses when I should have just walked away. It taught me that discipline is more important than any strategy. Quote
Flatzem888 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 so I asked AI about chasing losses.. cause a few people mentioned they wish they never chased losses "Chasing losses" refers to the behavior of increasing bets, frequency, or risk exposure in gambling or trading after a loss, in an attempt to recover the money previously lost. It can definitely mean the losses a person had on the day and before the day ends (often called within-session chasing), especially in fast-paced activities like day trading or casino games. A person might keep increasing their stakes during a single trading day or gambling session to try to break even before they stop. However, it also commonly includes between-session chasing, which is when a person returns to gamble or trade on a later day specifically to recoup money they lost in a previous session or over a period of time. So, while it absolutely includes trying to win back losses before the day ends, it is a broader term that applies to the attempt to recover past losses regardless of the time frame. Quote
Hellridah Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Being overly critical about one's self gives rise to doubt if its that bad its quitting time can't live your life with regrets mistakes happen ***** happens bro its just the way it is not everything has to have a reason that said if you find yourself too far gone its time for that reality check and ill admit under the current circumstances just about every game is high volatility now the punters stand to loose a lot very fast these days . Ruby Scott Posted Monday at 04:43 AM Posted Monday at 04:43 AM I wish I’d learned to walk away while I was ahead. That one extra bet always felt harmless, until it wasn’t. OliverCooper 1 Quote

Icy Posted Tuesday at 11:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:59 PM To have taken a different screenshot than the one shown to the moderator! It's a story of "I could have had it but didn't". I...I....just want to be alone with the moderator for a bit. Her company grants me forum relief. Quote
garry98 Posted yesterday at 10:20 AM Posted yesterday at 10:20 AM I feel myself lucky in gambling. I made 2x, 3x of 50%, +50x-60x of around 10% of deposits and lose without any profit 10-20% of deposits. But my weak point is not cashouting in 95% of sessions. Always try to won something bigger and lost all in final. I wish I was stopped in every time after +10x of deposits Quote
