Hi and welcome to the AskGamblers forum! :)

Well, I was quite curious about the Bitcoin's concept and had a look over it several months ago. Unfortunately, didn't find a single reputable online operator using that payment method and my interest ended at that point. On top of it, few weeks ago I read their boss was arrested or something... ;)

I heard Bitcoins is under fire because of its recent association with the Silk Road drug trafficking website. Although, I don't think Bitcoins had any official affiliation, people were paying for the transactions using this payment method.

I think so because most of the casinos do not accept this payment method. They just prefer cash , and i  think this will never change

Hmm, you just explained the current situation, but didn't explain why won't some casinos implement it in the future! Bitcoins seem to have some advantages which might suit to gamblers, as no fees or low fees (remember how high are the fees at some casinos), privacy, high speed... Maybe it's not so bad idea? :)

The current situation with BitCoin is quite simple, I would say. As soon as some of the big names in the industry announces that BitCoin is accepted in their casino then it really means BitCoin is safe to use.  :D  Not even a single decent casino would afford to add them as a payment method without putting the whole company behind BT on a thorough and careful check...probably double and triple check! ;)

I would not say it better! BitCoin has its advantages but in the casino industry is hardly applicable, I think most traders (because casinos are traders) are worried that this is just another financial bubble that will burst. ;)

I’m a bitcoin casino user, both in online and land-based casinos. There are few casinos now, like in Vegas that integrate the bitcoin for purchasing drinks, food, etc. But I mostly prefer playing online casino games because it saves me the time and effort of going out.

Ha, told ya it's not that bad idea! Congrats to VeraJohn Casino for making a historical moment and crushing the ice!

Let's hear first experiences now! :)

Of course it is a good idea, but I did not expect this to happen.

And yes..., you was right :D

I am unsure about Bitcoins. Where you can use it? In Helsinki you can buy vegetarian food from one place and some CDs just. Nothing more.

Anyway, if I win something from VeraJohn, I might take withdraw as a Bitcoins and sell those to someone for high prize. :D

Hehe, do we have a market dealer here?! :D

Just be sure to sell the Bitcoins (if and whenever you get such :p) on time. We don't want to have members hit by the next financial balloon. ;)

I dont have any Bitcoins, but if someday has, in Finland it is very easy to sell those. Sometimes I wonder stupidity of many my countrymen...

I think that Bitcoin might has future only in some small states and Switzerland might be a biggest state of those.

I’m an online bitcoin casino player, and so far my experience with bitcoin gambling is so good than in a regular online casino. However, I haven’t tried it with live casino. But I’m pretty sure it would be the same thing as well.

Good luck mate!  :good:
