ninsrin77 Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I have placed a bet in pari match today on July 3 ,2025 on the match between TEXAS SUPER KINGS VS WASHINGTON FREEDOM. It's a 5 over match and around 2.4 balls I have placed a bet on 2nd dismissal would be others. The rule book says retired out is considered as dismissal. Another rule says if batsman retired out in between overs previous ball will be considered the wicket ball. I have placed bet on 2.4 even though 2.6 was bowled when I placed the bet. But they are saying batsman retires considered as void. Clearly the batsman retired out. The customer care is trying to apply wrongly of rule 44 and made it as void. I need answers and resolution. Blackjax Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Retired out is not a dismissal, its a tactic used by certain teams to replace slow scoring batter. A dismissal is where a team loses a wicket and the batsman cannot bat again. In your case the team that had a player retired out he can bat again. Retired out is similar to retired hurt and the bowler is not rewarded a wicket. This is why your initial bet amount was refunded. Quote
