Hi all,

Since at least 6 years I'm playing live online roulette at playtechpowered casinos like William Hill,Winner and others, as long as they have low betting limits. I play often, almost every day and I enjoyed playing. Especially most Playtechcasinos I liked, because of their superior live game interface. A day or three ago I was very unpleasently suprised by the live roulette interface of EuroGrand and Sky Kings. They changed it !!  It is no longer possible to bet 'the same bet', and then lower (or remove)  some bets by right mouse click. You only can place 'same bet' !! Horrible :diablo: . Why  did these casinos downgraded their software (because that is what it is, back to the early days of online gambling)? I am very disappointed, this new interface robbed my love for the roulettegame. Do any of you AG-members experienced the same?

Best regards,

Seat

:(

Not many rouletteplayers here I guess. Well anyway, as far as I can tell only William Hill Casino has not switched to the older client. All other sistercasinos of WH like EuroGrand, 21 Nova etc now are using this the older version. I wonder why these casinos did that. For systemplayers like me the older roulette-interface is to be honest very bad, if not unplayable. Lowering your bets means to replace your complete old bet (placing a new lower amount of chips on the precise locations within 25 seconds) with a new bet.

It can't be done

Sorry Seat :( I'm not the biggest fan of table games and cannot help you much with this. But it seems weird indeed, all these upgrades and downgrades, having in mind that Playtech actually is quite a serious software provider, right?! Hope it was only some software bug and not something else...

:( Now also William Hill Casino Club has switched to this older live interface. :( For many years I've played at the WHG casinos, it's sad I've to say goodbye to them.

:(  :shok:  :cray: Oh no no no no, today I deposited at Winner Casino, my topfavorite one. Then I found out they also downgraded their live roulette interface. I don't believe it.... I gave my feedback at live support, I truly hope they soon upgrade again to the situation how it used to be. Because to be honest, with such out of date interface I am not gonna play there anymore.

Maybe Playtech has found some bug in the new version and that's why most casinos are downgrading in the last several months?! I cannot imagine another serious reason to go back when talking about an IT based product... :unknw:

Maybe try roulette on other casinos which don't work with Playtech, I believe that there should be a choice in this field. I also play table games and can say that there are a lot of good software.

Hi Sally, I'd love to hear your suggestions. 2 of the main reasons why I like the Live Playtech software is that 1) minimum chipvalue is 10 ct  in some casino's 2) possibility to lower bets with right mouseclick.

As far as I can tell only DublinBet is comparible.

Kind regards

hello to all the gamblers

i think that all is logical,in the past year they had some losses on those casinos,so they had to find a solution to make the players win less amounts of money so that they can rise up the casino balance again somehow,i dont think there is another reason for that.

Haha! :D Well, this what I call an "avant-garde" point of view! :p

Hi Everyone!  :hi:

Roulette isn't my kind of game and I hardly play it at all. I only looked at the lovely live hosts for a while before moving on...  :D

What caught my attention here doesn't concern roulette but the changes made by the various casinos as mentioned by Toiletseat. Have any of you wondered and pondered how an installed software in the casino's main server computer can be so easily downgraded or upgraded? Software tweaking provisions? New software installation? I don't think a new modified software needs to be installed each and every time a problem crops up...and doesn't these changes affect the original approved licensing at all?!  :shok:

Curious!!!

Ahmm, I should say that your logic is quite strange ?! :o  Isn't a casino expected to solve and maintain any problems found in its software asap? And please, do some searching and reading regarding the casino licensing and auditing... you will be probably surprised to know that it is not a one-time procedure. ;)

Don't get me wrong, I am the least who could be accused of being a casino lawyer here, but you should realy start supporting your statements with something better than just suspicions. :p

Ooops! Pardon me ValDes...I was born to be CURIOUS and SUSPICIOUS!!!  :D

Yes, I do know a lot more than what it may have seemed...have done many researches into many many things...most not relevant here  :D ...just wanted to get OTHER people be curious too!  :D Not working huh? Never mind...  ;)

I'm glad to see other forummembers also post in this thread. Thank you for that. 1 thing is for sure since this downgrading. It is impossible to play certain kind of strategies wich involves raising and lowering same bets. I don't think there was a bug in the newer version, because this newer version is still used by other Playtechcasinos. Remarkable is that Winner Casino switched to the old version, but their sistercasinos like 7Regal and Del Rio did not.

Hi Toiletseat!

What you have said is also true for most, if not all, casino groups. Each individual casino has small subtle differences in the way the software runs, to suit different priorities and operational needs I guess. Roulette for one, is vulnerable to automatic play by Bots software, so would need regular close scrutiny by the casino's management in preventing and avoiding continuous heavy losses. As far as I know, there aren't any Bots software yet for the other games, so I can play my slot games anytime with peace of mind!  B)

Roulette anyone? No thanks! :D

Sorry to disappoint you Afi but there is such software actually. :p And this is not something new at all...

The good news is that online casinos are capable to detect if such software has been used. ;)

You mean bots software for slots? For card games, yes, I am aware of that...not for slots. Something new for me to learn!  :D

Hi Afi,

ValDes, our highly appreciated living gambling encyclopedia once again is right indeed. I know there are roulettebots, even rouletteklickers (placing large complex bets with 1 click), so I am not that suprised that slots bots also were developed. Anyway, I don't think bots can cause a loss for a casino. The casino's edge remains to exist, also with automated gameplay.

Indeed Seat, you are totally right, slots bots cannot harm the casino in anyway. You have the slots RTP predefined and it really doesn't matter if it would be you or the bot to pull the Spin button. But still, most of them (if not all of them :D) would gladly punish you if any bot usage has been detected. Didn't want to say that, but... this statement comes from personal experience.:lol:

Hello Seat and ValDes! Sorry for not replying any earlier...I was away for 3 days!

Well, both of you have had personal experiences with slots bots...I haven't...don't think I will try either!  :D

Ah! No wonder you knew about slots bots Valdes!!!  :D Hope it wasn't a painful one...hehehe

You should definitely try some slots my friend! I used to think about them the same way you did... but after three random jackpots in a row....worth more than 7000 euro ... in less than an year ... with betting range between 0.20 - 0.75 per spin.... Well, now you know why I've changed my mind and prefer to play slots! :D

Heeey...slots IS my thing Valdes! I play slots and nothing else but slots...hehehe. Perhaps you meant trying out slots bots??? Will that help me get jackpots???!!!  :spiteful:  :D

Sorry, seems like I didn't get you right. :(

As for the slots bots, no, better not using them at all. All you can achieve with them is getting yourself into some serious troubles with the casinos, nothing else. ;)

You got that right this time my friend. :p  And definitely no bots for me!

My good ole hand will do just fine...hehehe.
