MilaRoy Posted June 16 Posted June 16 For the past month or so, I’ve been playing quite a bit. It’s not an issue for me yet, but sometimes after my sessions, I wonder if it was really "necessary". I’m just trying to find a good balance and was hoping some people could share their experiences or tips on how to achieve that. Honestly, I believe that talking about it openly is the best way to prevent any potential issues in the future. Quote
GeoNite Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Finding balance isn’t about guilt - it’s about intention. If it starts to feel like a routine escape or you’re questioning your “why” too often, that might be a good time to take a short break or reassess your limits cocopop3011 and MilaRoy 1 1 Quote
Spinly.io Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Hi, I am Spinly's casino rep and was searching a place in the forum to promote our self regulation tool AURA and thought I might leave a post and a perspective from the operator's side. I hope you don't mind. We view gambling as a form of entertainment. Much like a company providing a great experience via a video game or a social app, we focus on delivering what's supposed to be fun, through gambling. It always starts with fun and that's what's intended to do but like many other things in life, if you over do it, the dopamine rush starts to fade and fun along side it. That's why it's important to monitor your play style, your own feelings about a session and like you mentioned discussing it with others. Gambling in social settings is rarely as addictive as gambling alone in an unbalanced state or using gambling as an escape or self affirmation instead of pursuing real life goals. This is entertainment and not a source of income and I understand why it can easily be misinterpreted in that sense as money and a transactions are involved. Spending money on entertainment is OK! Losing money while while breaching your limitations financial or otherwise is not. What we are trying to do at Spinly is to create a self regulation tool where you can set your boundaries and track your ''Aura'' which will show you if you strayed beyond what you feel is reasonable time and money spent while gambling. What you can set with AURA? Daily Spend Limit: Set how much money you're willing to spend per day. Spin Limit: Define the maximum number of spins or bets you want to make each day. Daily Playtime: Control the number of minutes you plan to play each day. Night Play: Decide whether or not you want to engage in late-night gaming. Rest Days: Schedule days where you won't play at all to ensure a healthy balance. We also track data in the back-end which you cannot set, to determine your AURA points and give you real time feedback on your current state. You can read about this more here: https://docs.spinly.io/spinlys-aura-rig But this will not restrict you from making larger deposits than set in AURA nor will it imply any other strict restrictions. You will still have to keep control of your spending yourself. But what it will do, is give you a sense if you went over board! This is still in Beta and we would really appreciate any feedback from players! Cheers! Quote
