Hello and thank you for your time, I’m looking for suggestions and feedback from anyone that has been in the same situation or knows of any ways to go about claiming my money. I was using an online social casino and I won a substantial amount of money. After clicking redeem and going to bed for the night, I woke up and noticed that a VPN had been running. I did not know the VPN was on and I’m not in a restricted area. I have this terrible feeling that they’re going to use this as a reason to not pay me Considering how much money it is. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about this situation? Should I cancel the redemptions and then redeem not using a VPN? Should I let them process it and see what happens? Should I contact them and let them know the situation? I don’t know what to do and I don’t want to lose out on this potential life changing amount of money.  The vpn had been running for over a week on my phone and I had forgotten to turn it off after using it to stream. Do you guys think I’m screwed? What would you guys do in the situation?

Did you do any spins?

What activities did you do when your vpn was active?

Yes all of my spins were with the vpn on unfortunately. Do you think I should cancel the redemptions and play without the vpn then try and redeem the money? I’m n Missouri, it’s not a restricted area, and their rules state that you can’t use a vpn to use their site from a restricted area, which I wasn’t.  I’m just tripping because it’s a lot of money and I deposited a lot of money to get that win.

If you tell them yourself or if they find out on their own, the outcome will be same. The best thing would be to talk to the casino and explain them what happened.

How long has your withdrawal been in pending?

It has been processing since Saturday at 7am when I applied for redemption. At that time it said there was up to a 48 hour processing time. So we’re approaching that 41 hour mark rn.  Im so conflicted here cause I don’t want to bring it to their attention if they were gonna approve it but at the same time they state in their rules that redemptions this big are subject to more scrutiny so they’ll most likely find it. And they also state that they’ll only process one at a time and they made me make 3 separate redemptions . Youre prolly right I should reach out to them.

Hold on. Wait for 24 hours. Lets see how things go. Then tell them everything.

Thanks for your input. I genuinely appreciate it. If somehow they end up paying me I’ll send you some money for trying to talk me off the ledge. I’m over here having terrible anxiety thinking about this and your input has helped me to calm down a bit. So thank you very much.  If for some reason they haven’t processed it at the 48 hr mark ( which has since been changed to 24 hours btw)  is that a red flag? Or maybe they’re just having a lot of redemption requests due to the Easter promotions they had going on? I know you don’t have a definitive answer but I value your input as every one else has just been like idk. And I’m serious about sending you some bread,  hopefully I’m able to get the money and fulfill that promise.

Also do you think by me Alerting them to the mistake they will just say it says In the rules no vpn  and you have to meet every requirement  to be eligible to cash out.  And ban my account or would they try to to see what they can do for me?  I was in it at at least 3800 dollars so I really am winning only like like 31k  but that would pay off my student loans and I’d be debt free ! Kind of gives me hope that their rules state no  VPN use in restricted areas and Missouri isn’t a restricted area. And neither is Virginia where the VPN was located. I immediately turned off the VPN and access the website so they can see that I’m actually in Missouri. I don’t know if that was a good move or not but that’s what I did

Vpn usage is usually done to bypass restrictions/jurisdictions. Thankfully you didnt do that. Neither your chosen location was restricted nor your registered location. Maybe because it was the weekend or easter festivities that your payout is delayed. Stay cool.

And since you are a student I suggest stay away from Gambling. Maybe you have just started and there is this thing in gambling called beginners luck. You win some in start and then lose it all. Please consider my advice. No harm in gambling for fun but in the long term casinos always win. Best of luck.

Unfortunately I’ve been gambling for quite a while. It’s become an addiction at this point unfortunately. Definitely need to figure out a way to ban myself from all online casinos but don’t know of a way to do that. Also as an update they want me to verify my banking information with them which is fine but seems odds considering they have already made me do a verification with an id and picture and they can see who’s bank account it is from trusty I assume. And when they sent the info about the bank account they want me to verify it was not even the correct information it had the wrong last 4 numbers. Not sure if this is a stall tactic or what’s going on. On the positive side though my VIP representative reached out and wants to send me a big check you know one of the fake kinds and a bottle of champagne to send a picture back to them to promote their site.  That kind of makes me think that I might receive the payment.
