blondie
Hi guys, In the past year we're seeing lots of countries becoming regulated markets - such as Netherlands, Germany and many others. And with that comes changes in the provider's offering, for example many providers started offering RTP as low as 86% for the German market. Also many slot features are becoming unavailable for different markets (UK being the prime example of no bonus buy option etc). However, it looks like game providers keep releasing very volatile games, high-cost bonus buys that many players can't even afford to experience. I think that in the next year we'll see even more regulated markets and even lower RTPs. What do you predict will change in the industry in the next year? It's safe to say gambling isn't what it used to be cocopop3011 and Hellridah
Blackjax
I still belive the worst is yet to come. Casinos might raise minimum bets from 10 and 20 cents to maybe 50 cent minimum. Its going to be tough for us low rollers. cocopop3011 and blondie
blondie
That might be the case, but instead of casinos raising minimum bets, it would be game providers increasing the minimum coin size/ minimum bet.
Flatzem
more people will move to table games and bingo if the slot RTP keeps dropping.. you will get more play time at other games... blondie

cocopop3011
Yep I agree, gambling is not what it use to be. All these new rules and regulations have taken a lot of fun out of it and quite frankly, IMHO, providers are NOT producing games like they used to. Where do I see the future? I think its bleak to say the least. I think markets will become so heavily regulated that it just won't appeal to people anymore. If providers decide to increase minimum stakes, low rollers will really struggle. Where I live the cost of living is so high now I don't have any spare money to play like I used to, and I'm afraid that is only going to get worse! blondie
Jedi4
I think we will keep seeing the market consolidating so there will be less and less variation on the licensed markets. These companies be it game providers or casinos will push for harder and harder rules so it will be hard for competitors to enter the market. This will then drive the licensed market to have a big % of their gameplay to happen on unlicensed casinos like we see in Sweden and Germany now. This will then again drive bad actors to set up casinos or game studios that cheat the players. So IMO it’s great there are still casinos and studios out there that are willing to operate in a grey space but still have fair business practices
